Good morning. Yesterday I was in and out of CL fighting the heat. In a first for the summer season I was still out at 11pm checking temps and back out at 4am because it stayed so warm thru the night. Today we have rain and 75. I

Good Morning,

Gray skies, lots of humidity and looks like rain. The weather sort of fits my mood this morning.

My pictures and shelf are up in my upstairs room but not without the drama that had to go along with it. I won't get into it but it pretty much left me drained and realizing once again why I do things myself or ask to DS for help. I think it offends him but not knowing when the trigger is going to go off it's apparently what I'm going to have to do. He finally had his prescription refilled and on again/off again and in between I'm sure has something to do with these issues. At this point I'm not even sure that this medication is the correct one. Unresolved issues and not moving on over the loss of his job and not accepting this new one hasn't helped either. Between all of this, wedding emotions which included going through pictures of DD for a photo posterboard that the groom's sister is putting togther, dealing with the daily home and work duties definitely has me on a huge emotion filled roller coaster that's just draining me in every which way.

Moving on, my doctor's appointment went much better than I had expected. My bone density has actually improved since my last scan 2 years ago. I'm back to the ostopenia classification rather than osteoporosic (sp). I really dislike the Actenol but apparently it's doing what it should be doing. He's hoping that if the levels continue to improve that I can come off of it over the next few years.

Work should be quiet but I've said that before. My boss is NYC for the day and the other boss has a closing and meetings for the most part of the day. Hopefully I can make a dent in some of the random piles that are stacked up on my desk.

Margie-I'm not surprised that the ex is getting married. I am sorry that he had to drag your DD into the middle and it's sad that he doesn't realize what he's doing to their relationship.

Grace-All I can say about the "rat"-nope can't say that! But what goes around comes around!

Nancy-safe travels!

Li-Deb-hated everything to do with FASA forms! After 8 years, and 2 kids I was glad when the last of those and loan applications were over and done with!

Sorry, the rest of my mind is mush although I am thinking for some unknown reason about raspberry cheesecake bars!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Susan

Can't believe I forgot to ask for good thoughts for my mom ... she is having eye surgery (cateract) this morning.

I meant to ask you this the other day when you posted how hot it is there. Don't you have a window AC unit to put in the window for sleeping at night or in your exercise room? We only have 3 window units that we put in our bedrooms for sleepting. We hang a plain white sheet on a rod at the top of the stairs that when we leave our bedroom doors open helps keep the hallway and bathroom nice and cool too. Our downstairs does not have AC because we have all seperate rooms and our den which is where we watch TV has the windows that crank open so putting a unit in them is impossible. We discussed that next year when we do our taxes we are going to use the money back to put central AC in the house. It will be expensive

I don't think you can install central AC in one day so would it be worth your while to just buy a small window unit and put it in the bedroom just so you can sleep at night. Not enough money in the world to make me go through the night with such warm temps. My sleeping hormones are a mess right now and the body heat I am thowing off is unreal. Plus Bill workes outside in it all day long so when he does get home he usually changes into shorts, we eat dinner out on the back patio (screen in), then he showers and stays upstairs. Now that our DVR box is a home media box he will sit on the bed and watch TV for an hour or two. I don't blame him since I am in AC during the day when I am at work.
