Well I know I am winding down this busy Friday..........anyone else? What kind of day did everyone have? Glad to be heading to the bedtime hour? Amazing the older I get the more I look forward to my relax time in my bed, anyone else feel that way?
First off thinking of Susan, her family and Otto. Hope he does better though the night and you get good positive results tomorrow morning.
Today was an other busy day around here. My house is always buzzing with people coming and going, pets in and out, phones ringing, air compressors blowing.........you name it we got it here. I highly doubt many of you have this much activity going on in your lives on a daily basis............yet I wonder if it is because we are from LI and its just the way of life around here for a busy family.
Over slept this morning, shut the alarm off after Bill got up and don't remember him leaving. I woke up at 9:05 in a panic because I needed to wake Katie for her tutor session which starts at 10:00. I had a quick cup of tea, hung up some delicate work clothes that I had washed the night before, threw on a pair of shorts, brushed my teeth and took Katie. Got outside and said an OMG...........I had all the employee's cars in my driveway included my MIL's. I have a huge driveway, horse shoe shaped that can fit 4 cars and then along the right side of the house the driveway goes all the way back to the garage, we had cars down there too. The shop looked like a busy used car parking lot and like he was giving something away, we just needed to blow up balloons. It was crazy busy! We had the environmental guys there this morning taking down all their equipment that has been there for about 10 years or more. Bill got the clean papers this week, we have clean soil once again. The place was a gas station many years ago, way before we bought the place and the gas tanks back then were not as safe as they are now. Having the clean soil and papers is a big thing for us, not just for our own piece of mind but in the future when we do decide or if we decide to sell. I drove Katie to the tutor, came home and had some cereal, made my bed, did some laundry, played with Cole, took a walk then took a shower and got cleaned up for the day. Picked up Katie and then met up with my middle sister for a nice early afternoon of shopping. Katie was home and her kids were at camp. Actually Katie cleaned up her room, folded some laundry for me and did the dishwasher thing oh and she helped Rob wash the truck he was detailing today. My sister and I went to NY & Company, bought myself two pairs of shorts and two tank tops, pair of white capri pants and a dress
