Good Morning,

A rainy and humid start to Sunday here on LI. Yesterday was a day of accomplishing absolutely nothing. I picked up my cleaning, realized I didn't have enough money to pay for my dress alterations and had to run home to pick up cash, ran to Staples to pick up pictures for the poster board that's being made, and then on to pick up my dress. She did a very nice job on the alterations and that's all done. I got home just in time for a call from the vet. I was glad that I was back in the house and not discussing the questions I had while running errands. She answered my questions and I just hope that the decision we made isn't going to alter the quality of Otto's life. That's the one thing DS and I are both worried about. If it proves to be begnin he should be fine although just as in a human he can be prone to heart arrythmias which is one of the things that they are monitoring as well as his red blood count which were both stable as of yesterday. He did have to have a transfusion and I'm sure the final bill is going to be staggering. If all goes well they said he should be ready to come home mid week but I've already discussed the possibility of his stay being extended until someone can be home with him. I think he's already been through enough. Hopefully we'll get him home the day after the wedding.

I wasn't sure I was going to make it to the party yesterday. My stomach just didn't feel right all morning and was still a little rumbly early afternoon. But I wasn't accomplishing anything around here and I didn't feel like sitting home so I did go and it was nice to get out. We didn't get home until after 11 and I woke up early but went back to sleep until 7:30. I think I needed that. Emma was a riot yesterday since she loves to be in her pjs and refused to get out of them. We're all curious to see if she actually gets into her flower girl dress and then actually makes it down the aisle. Her 5 year old brother is the ring bearer so that might help. He is so excited and apparently will be wearing a tux and gets up every morning asking if it's Allison's wedding. The older brother is going to escort me down the aisle but was less than thrilled to realize he has to wear a suit! I told him that he needed to look really good if he wanted to come down the aisle with his great aunt in her simply gorgeous dress! He thought that was rather amusing!

Not sure what the agenda is for the day. I think it's going to be a quick run through the grocery store and I do have to get the photos over to DD's inlaws house. DD has bubbles and tissues packs for the church and I think I'll put those in the little organza bags she has and arrange them in the pretty white basket she has. The energy level is really low at the moment so need a shot up umption in my gumption. I can't get a handle on the cleaning situation since there's so much stuff laying around. I think I need to consolidate everything into one room.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

Beautiful day, beautiful weather and I'm teaching Zumba in a bit.

Hello ladies...................set my alarm for 6:30 so I could get a few things done this morning before we went sailing with my sister and her family. Ran to the grocery store then over to the bagel store for fresh bagels. Made some tea and got started on my pasta salad and shrimp. I made a pasta salad and cold shrimp cocktail for the boat and cut up 1/4 of a watermelon. Bill got up and we had coffee/tea together, he was in the shower when my sister called to say we were not going. The weather looked too iffy and they did not want to chance it. So it changed our plans completely, Katie went back upstairs into the AC complaining about getting up early and showering early................complain, complain, complain! Bill finished up and we took the new truck out for a ride and he treated me to breakfast at a little local coffee shop. Then we headed over to Bob's Store since Bill needed a new bathing suit, we bought one and then headed over to Kohls where he bought another. We took a ride over to the beach and cruised around a bit enjoying the new truck. It has all this confusing stuff and the radio and navigation system will take a while for him to figure out. Actually he needs to get Rob in there and have Rob figure it out and then teach Bill, lol. It does not have the usual 6 CD system it has a jukebox system, weird.

Following up on my post from this morning - I got a lamb kebab platter (w/rice and grilled veggies and greek salad) for the son, got a ground meat ( I can't remember what it is called) Pita sandwich for myself and then a greek salad for us to share.
