Good Morning,

The rain has gone away and the sun has returned. Keeping all appendages crossed that the 5 day forecast is correct showing Friday being a beautiful day!

Otto was taken out of the critical care unit yesterday and was doing well. I was informed that he will be ready to come home in a day or two and yet again I've had to explain what the problem is with him coming home. The vet I spoke to yesterday agreed that bringing him home to bring him to be boarded wasn't such a great idea. His idea was to keep him in the hospital section at boarding rates or to transfer him to their boarding facility which is adjacent to the hospital. I really have to leave it to their discretion as to what is best for Otto. No news on the pathology report and I'm just keeping that in the back of my mind for now.

I'm on vacation this week, lots of things to do. I sat and made my to do list yesterday and cleaned up and tried to organize things as to what goes where. Hotel, reception site, church. I think today will be focused on getting the house clean. The rest of the week looks like it's going to involve a lot of running around and this will be a stay at home day. The laundry is mounting as well and in my efforts to clean up I discovered numerous sweatshirts and winter coats adorning the hall rack. Now that it's August maybe it's time to throw them in the wash and put them away? I don't think that occured to the male minds of the household. Bills need to be paid as well and get my checkbook back in order which will probably be a project for this evening.

That's pretty much the deal for the day. Hope everyone has a magnificent Monday!

It's actually a question that we've asked. They have told us that visiting sometimes gets the pet all excited to see you and then you leave and they get depressed and won't eat or take their medication. My update this morning did say that he's not eating but he said that can sometimes just be a behavioral thing since they're not in their own environment...we all know how Otto likes to eat! He did say that if it continues they may have one of us come out and see if we can encourage him to eat.

I'm glad that you're room is coming together. Projects like that, especially when it's not something that you're used to doing can become so overwhelming. I know that all too well from the painting activity that went on around here and the time crunch involved. It was hard doing the majority of it on my own and not one of my better painting jobs but now that things are more put together I'm trying to ignore the flaws until I feel like pulling out the can of paint and doing a few minor touch ups!

I think I'm ready for a change of seasons. I usually don't feel like this until late August or early September. I just haven't enjoyed this summer at all. Although I'm so grateful that we have the downstairs AC unit I would much prefer having my windows wide open and not feel smothered by the clammy, humid filled air!

Happy Birthday to your DH! I do hope that something clicks with a job for him.

Otto is lucky to have so many Moms!

2009 F-150 XLT by Ford Motor Company.Hey there it is still morning so I figured I would try to post before it got any later. Boss is buzzing around and not in a good mood at all. Fun day, fun day! We were all in bed early last night I guess the weather just wore us out........and then the pool at my sisters in the early evening and well the wine...........:-)

Got up ontime this morning and threw a batch of laundry going and made my tea. While drinking my tea I did some ironing and then grabbed my shower and got done for work. Nothing exciting going on today that I know of. I want to call Jenny Craig at lunch time and find out when I can meet with them. I have a Peapod order expected at 6:30 tonight so I may not be able to get there tonight. Always something. I have pasted a picture of Bill's new truck up on top. He got the same color too, pearl white. Aint is cute! I will give you a shout later in the afternoon if boss disappears on some errands. Hope you all have a great day today. Someone asked when my reunion is and its August 21st.

Hello, all...I know I have been missing but I took not going to Maine pretty hard because I am so worried about my granddaughters. The rat is being his usual self with the girls...no patience and having fights with his family and stressing them all out and making them sick. Older granddaughter is not really eating and cried for 1/2 hour to DD on the phone last night about wanting to come home and/or asking DD to please come on vacation. It is so hard....

My head isn't into much. I don't know how I got through subbing 2 classes this morning with just being called yesterday afternoon about doing them. I am glad I did them and I got a lot of positive feedback and I hope it means I get on the schedule again at this gym. We will see...I really played up that I teach Zumba now too.

Susan...so sorry to read about Otto. I do hope he starts eating soon and it better. Can't believe this all happened right before the wedding. Hope the medication problem is worked out too.

I can't remember much else except Donna's DH is getting calls about a job and her exercise is still on her schedule. Margie and Margo getting projects done, Patty having a problem in CL and well...that is about it. Tell me about CRS, Susan? Stress is a killer with memory.

Don't know when I will be back...I am trying to juggle spending time with both DDs...one needs me to babysit and the other one just needs me to be around. Older DD wants to go into NYC on Wednesday and have a "spa" day on Thursday. Hoping it comes about and we don't have to make a last minute trip to Maine.

Hugs to all..
Grace

Grace, My heart goes out to you... So hard to see your kids and grandkids dealing with the "rat" and not being able to do anything about it.
