Trying to keep my mind busy and nerves under control this morning. I've been up since around 6:30 and lots of laundry to do, some errands to run and really hoping that the vet calls soon with an update. Otto, under normal circumstances would be coming home today but we decided to transfer him over to the Pet Wellness Center until Saturday when the wedding will be over and he can come home to a calmer household. The vet did think that was the best way to go. In order for that to happen I had to run over to the office when they faxed the paperwork over that had to be signed and of course authorization for the finalization of the bill. I did have to figure out the bill which involved 3 phone calls trying to avoid having to leave a message in a voice mail. We'll just say there billing system is a bit odd. I am hoping that Otto has eaten and although they said the pathology report should be in today not sure I want to hear what it has to say.
The house is nice and clean. Kept myself busy with lots of vaccuming, dusting, washing floors, wiping down woodwork. Just hope that it stays that way. DH is out working in the yard today and he best better be taking off those yucky boots or he'll be wielding a bucket and mop this evening. He did say that he would take care of bathroom scrubbing.
Grace-I am sorry about the situation with the "rat". I feel so bad for everyone involved with his stupidity.
Wow quiet here this morning. Susan sounds like you have been a busy bee the last few days. I hope that Otto is resting comfortably and feeling better. Last night was a mess of an evening at my house. After my Jenny Craig meeting I rushed home to get some dinner going..........well Cole was on the patio and decided to tear apart an old styrafoam cooler there was white stuff everywhere, Katie decided to clean her room and move her furniture around........the extra stuff was put in my room. We had Cole there, Einstein there, the cats were outside meowing........I was trying to BBQ outside and cook inside, Peapod showed up just as I was pulling my steaks off the grill. It was mad, mad I tell you! we finally got dinner done and cleaned up and my house settled down around 11:30. Never did have a chance to look at the Jenny Craig stuff so that is my game plan at lunch time. I did get up at 7 this morning and I took a 30 minute walk outside before getting the rest of the day going. Shower, fold a batch of laundry and made my bed, I then sat down with my Jenny cereal, my hot tea and my fresh fruit (watermelon). I brought my "anytime" bar with me and my yogurt and I ate my yogurt around 11:30. I have a turkey burger for lunch and made my salad to go along with it. My Jenny dinner tonight is spagetti and meatballs so I am going to make sauce for the family with sausages. This should be interesting. I think this will be my challenge. Katie has a riding lesson tonight and I will bring my sneakers with me and while she is riding I think I will try to get another 30 minute walk in then sit in my truck and read a little while. Not sure what else tonight will hold other then house work and dinner. Hope everyone has a good day and I will check back with you all later.
I hope I can do this and stick with it. It is an expensive journey and I am afraid to dissapoint again.................I lack so much willpower and commitment and i stray easily. I also hate exercise and have not found one I love. I wish I could try a Jazzercise program or a Zumba class but my financial funds have dried out.
Very quiet Tuesday here. Good afternoon Susan, Debbie and Deb. I am back from watching two youngest grandchildren and doing some errands. The girls had a nice day in Maine yesterday but the rat has had the riot act read to him. Keeping fingers crossed that they keep having a good time. Thank you Donna for the email.
I am sooooo tired and I don't know what to attribute it to. Could stress be doing this? There is no pep to my step.
Sorry to be a bummer...I am off a for a little while.
