Wouldn't this be a nice place to wake up on a quiet Sunday morning? Or maybe this place instead?

Either way both look great to me. Is everyone relaxed and rested? What does everyone have planned for today? I noticed our board has been extremely quiet the last couple of weeks. No newbies, less of the regulars. Is life just too busy for everyone? Is everyone outdoors enjoying the short summer season? Well either way if you do find the time to stop in please share with everyone your plans for today!

I would take either place to be honest anything would be better then the view of my back yard. Although they did come and reshape the pool hole and pull more dirt out with the newest promise of coming on Monday to start the construction of it. My front garden looks pretty sad too, I never did find the energy to get out there and weed it and I had hoped that today might be the day but our skies are getting darker by the minute and I believe showers are in the forecast. I did have a quiet morning for a change, I woke up at 8:30 and I came down and enjoyed a nice cup of hot tea alone! Everyone was still sleeping. Stacey and Einstein are here, her parents went away camping and she does not like staying home alone. Now you would think her and Rob would take advantage of an empty house.............nope they stayed here, lol. We blew up the air mattress and put it in Katies room and that is where Rob slept. Actually Rob and Stacey are alive down in the den and Bill and Katie are still sleeping upstairs but that needs to change, lol. Rob just put some Pillsbury Cinn Rolls into the oven and that should start to stir them up. I need to make my Jenny Craig breakfast now so I don't pick! Oh the water is boiling and the buzzer just went off on the oven. I am going to run quick and get more tea and wake up the rest of the family. I will come back later and see what everyone else is up to. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hope the Jenny Craig is the answer for you Debbie. I know how hard you have worked to lose weight. I am cheering you on!!!

Nothing much going on here and I am not complaining. It is either a very quiet house or bedlam when everyone is over. It exhausts me and I hate feeling like that. Sleep is getting more and more illusive. I am slowly watching all the shows I recorded on the DVR in the middle of the night. A lot of crocheting getting done too.

Oh well...life really hasn't changed much as you can see. Granddaughters are home and we are all very happy about that.

Time to marinate the chicken breasts.

Hope you all have a nice Sunday

Wow, 10 days! Good for you. Wish I could say I had a nice time in Maine, but the trip was cancelled for DD and I. Ended up the rat took the girls to Maine and ruined everyone's vacation up there. Sigh...

I tried a staycation but only got 2 days of that. It was a good two days. Your vacation sounded much better. Hope you get to make another dream come true soon.

Better late than never today. Trying to get back in the groove in more ways than one around here. Just wish that I could actually sleep. It must have been around 3AM before I managed to drift off and then up again at 6. I don't think I've slept more than 12 hours in the past 3 days.

Otto has had us worried and we couldn't get any of his medications into him. DS finally bought a pill pusher that looks like a syringe. I have to get him around his neck and DS has to get the pusher far enough down his throat to get it into him. There was no amount of any type of food that was going to convince him to take these. He has perked up during the day and actually ate some dog food this evening and we've been giving him a bit of chicken and rice to get him to eat something. DS and I were both very relieved to get the medication into him especially the antibotic. Hopefully we'll be seeing a bit of improvement each day.

I've been trying to get a few things done around the house today but it's been a struggle. I never got to the grocery store and still realizing I have bills that have to be paid. I had better get to that before I get socked with some type of late fees.

Patty-glad to hear that your Dad is home.

Nancy-nice to have you back. Sounds like you had a really nice trip.
