Two very sensitive subjects in this house I am afraid............dirt and grass! Lets see we have dirt in our front side yard where we bought several loads of top soil, landscaper finally came with his crew to spread it after it sat here for 6 weeks, only to find out we needed more. The landscaper finally came back with the crew and top soil spread it nice, fine raked it and now we sit with just dirt with weeds coming up. The back yard still is covered in huge mountains of dirt from the giant hole. On Saturday then moved more dirt out of the hole trying to reshape it. I wonder if I will ever have a nice green yard again. I am almost at the point of not caring.

Yesterday was a low key but busy day here nonetheless. Billy was at the shop working his trucks, Rob was home low key with Stacey, Katie was doing her thing and just relaxing too. The dog trainer came yesterday but Bill wanted me to go to Home Depot with him, so I left Katie to take my place which worked out to be

Good Morning,

Just a quick hello. The schedule around here is all messed up. DS and I once again had to fight with Otto to get the pills down his throat. The antibotic one is so big it has to be scored in 4 pieces. I have to give my son a lot of credit since he literally has to find the right places on Ottos jaw to get his snout open and then pretty much get part of his hand inside his mouth to shoot this thing right down. He managed to spit out one of them 3x. I have to find the right hold on him to hold him still since he's fighting us all the way and we don't want to hurt him.

I'm trying to get back in the mindset of work but it's really hard. There's so much to do around here and I wish I could have taken today off as an extra vacation day but someone else starts vacation today. At least I slept last night.

I'd better get myself back downstairs and check on my buddy since I need to keep my eye on him while he's outside by himself.

Hope everyone has a good start to the week.

It is too bad you couldn't have had another day or two off work to get some of the excitement of the wedding over with and back to a normal feeling again.

It is hard to believe that it's nearly time for school activities to begin again.

Hello all! Trying really hard to get back into the swing of things and "get healthy" again. I have to think about a more healthy lifestyle and no more skating around the edges. So, I am with Patty, Nancy, Debbie and Karen to "just do it". I will be doing what Nancy is doing...keeping those WW points in the back of my head to keep the eating down to a minimum.

Got my exercise in today with 2 classes at the gym. Well...almost 2 full classes. Just couldn't go through another segment of too fast kickboxing. So...I left 10 minutes early. I don't like doing that but I was at my wits' end. Got to Trader Joes and bought some healthier foods and the fridge is full of summer fruits and veggies. Now to utilize it!

Glad you got some sleep SUSAN and I hope Otto keeps taking his medicine and gets stronger every day. Enjoy your football season, KAREN. Hope KATIE is alright from that fall, DEBBIE. How scary! My boys never broke a bone with all the shenanigans they were up to, but my younger DD broke her collar bone falling off a hammock. That was my first experience with a DD having a worse injury than my DSs.

Ok..off to dust...can't put it off any longer.

Grace

Keep on keeping on!

Good morning...

Another day filled with kids in the house... I swiffered and vacumned and now it begins all over again... I purchased a second wii motion remote so the kids want to check that out this afternoon.
