Good morning ladies! I had trouble falling asleep last night. I found myself both excited and worried about this upcoming weekend. I am so happy to see my friends who I have not seen since last March (1 1/2 years) and to see friends from the old school days but worried about blowing the last two weeks of hard work in one weekend. I did a really good cleaning of the house over the weekend yet last night it is a mess again. The kids get me angry sometimes but I guess I will just have to give it the once over tomorrow night while waiting for my grocery oder to arrive from Peapod. I just finished that up and have an order coming after work tomorrow. One less thing I need to worry about. I do need to run to the bank at lunch time and then I have to stop and get a few things that Peapod does not carry but that will only take me 20 minutes or so. Katie has a lesson today on Ammy but she was talking about canceling depending on how hot it gets here today. I wanted to get up at 6:30 and throw my sneakers on but decided to the Peapod order is more important. I am just waiting for the washer to shut off then I am into the shower and running for the day. I hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

Good Morning,

Another day of the HHH's here on LI. The ac's are running full blast. Not looking forward to our utility bill!

Second day in a row I'm wearing a dress and/or skirt to work. I have some cute skirts and nice work appropriate dresses but seldom wear them for whatever reason. The one I have on today is a bit snug in the waist so it will be a gentle reminder to do what I have to do!

I went for a walk last night but got distracted when I ran into someone that I used to babysit for. I'm always waving to her and her husband when I walk by their house. She and her husband were walking their dog and she stopped and asked where my walking partner was. The conversation went on from there and it turns out that her husband is a motorcycle rider and knows many of the guys that DH knows. It really is a small world.

Not sure what's happening in the working world today. Each day is a surprise! Yesterday, someone just is not reading my memos that my brain turns to mush about 3PM so chaos and frantic moments should not be on the agenda!

Deb-congratulations on the weight loss! Can't wait to see pictures!

Donna-loved your post about your weekend. I LOVE lobster! There's still New England girl in me and I actually would love to move back to the New England area. My DD is constantly sending me links to houses available near them! Not sure how her siblings would feel about that!

Karen-how did the first day of school go? Schedules all straightened out! Good luck with the new job-hope the boss treats you well :)!

Better get moving. DH has to follow me over to the car place so I can drop my car off for a NYS inspection and he can drop me off at work. Would have been easier if he would have just taken my car one day since he works for a dealership but some how that just never works!

Hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday!

Good Morning Everyone,

I read the Monday posts becuase I didn't have a chance to get to the board yesterday and I was feeling pretty good because when I ready Patty's question about what health means to me I could say that this past week I have made a concentrated effort to eat healthy.

Didn't mean to put any ideas in your head, Margie! At least it won't be too easy for you to act on any clam cravings.

Hugs!

Hi, all..quick post before I have to leave and sub a body sculpting class. I have two more classes to sub this week, both on Thursday, but the late one is Zumba. I hope I can stay awake for that 8 pm class but it is worth doing it to get my foot in the door.

I was at the beach with DDs yesterday. What a circus with 3 babies and 6 grandchildren altogether. I took the granddaughters that live with us along. They were a help. I had to prove to both DDs that they can manage to get out with the kids and do the things they long to do. Corey Beach was great...water does not get too deep and the beach was full of moms and kids and everyone kind of watched out for each other.

No exercise for me yesterday, but I did take a nice Zumba class on Sunday and I will be making up for it today. If I have enough energy this evening after subbing and going to visit friend in hospital, I will go take my friend's Zumba class. Again...it is to keep my "foot in the door".

The rat is not behaving himself but it has made DD realize litigation is the only way to go. So...that is the next step. Hopefully it will scare him because it will be very expensive and he will have to absorb all the cost since DD has no job.

OK...that is it in my neck of the woods. I had to stay away a day because Donna's post about eating all that shellfish made me itch! I almost broke out into hives reading it! Oh how I wish I could eat that stuff...I love it but it doesn't like me at all. We were supposed to go to Wells for vacation that the rat ruined and you can see Kennebunkport from the beach.

Have a good one all....to a healthy productive day!

Grace
