A day with windows open and a relief from the humidity...what a relief. It's only temporary when Wednesday is supposed to bring the ickies back!
Purpose to exercise...I think I'm learning or already knew that it does bring down the stress level and I know that it's a big contributor to being healthy...now if I could just remember that. Of course when you're still gingerly climbing the stairs or bending over to get something I do tend to rethink the purpose! I am hoping to get out for a walk this evening. I finally got myself a battery for my pedometer so at least I'll have an idea of how far I've gone.
Sorry no exciting plans in this neck of the woods and I was so looking forward to a prize :)! Back to work. The weekend passed by in a blur once again and apparently I'm really confused as to the calendar. Yesterday I was assuming that next weekend is a 3 day weekend with next Monday is Labor Day and then realizing next Monday is still August. I really am confused.
I have 3 big bags of clothes to be donated sitting on the front steps waiting for pickup. Trying to unearth them this morning left me feeling very discouraged about every coming up from under all this clutter. I was seriously thinking of doing a garage sale but on the other hand boxes of stuff out of here and to my coworker for her cancer care sale sounds like an easier way to deal with everything.
Patty your arm situation sounds very strange. You might want to have that checked out. Hope things go smoothly...chickens and men sounds like a lot to handle for the day.
Nancy-thinking of your DD and her job situation. Hope your day at work goes well.

Well better get moving. I have laundry in a basket and in the dryer and hope to get some of it in it's proper location before heading to the legaleagleville.
Almost lunch time... Nothing exciting happening here... I don't think this is what you meant as far purpose in my workouts but my #1 purpose is to lose weight... which leads to being healthier and more fit as I age... I had read once that a good idea is to train for events or do events which gives you a goal and a purpose. I have never done that and it might be a good idea.
