My thanksfuls are simple, a wonderful time with my best friends, seeing people from the past and actually liking them, cooler temps this morning (sure now that the pool is in, lol), the pool going in and water filling it, my family, only a 1/2 pound gain at Jenny Craig
I'm a bit confused (nothing new about that) about what day of the week it is. Tuesday is normally DH's (yes he's gotten it back temporarily)day off but this week he was off on Wednesday. I'm so glad morning posts have the day of the week in them!
It's cloudy and quite cool here this morning. I would love to be home and open all the windows to air this place out. Apparently we have storms headed our way for tomorrow and the weekend so I guess that's not going to happen.
Back to work today but the end of the week is within reach. Never sure what the work day will hold-just hope it keeps me busy, out of trouble and passes by quickly.
I went walking last night for about 50 minutes. I think my pedometer needs to be reset. According to the steps I walked about 3 miles but when you hit the mode button for miles it was under 2. I think the step one was more accurate for the pace and time I was out or maybe just wishful thinking on my part.
DD emailed me the link to the photographers pictures. He did a spectacular job-thank you John! He has more of a photojournalist approach to his photography and although they have their share of formal poses (which were wonderful) his other pictures are really good!
The DH has earned at least his D back for now. After taking his sister for her radiation treatment he actually came back and cleaned the bathroom, washed the kitchen floor and put his laundry away. It's all about what's on his agenda! But I am thankful that his agenda included a few household tasks, especially the one he volunteered for but seldom follow through on! I am still trying to figure out however how Pledge got all over my laminate floors which are making them really slippery!
Otto is doing well although I had to sneak out of the house while he was outside so I could go for my walk. I feel so guilty going without him. I really hope this thing comes off on Monday!
Thankful that Otto continues to improve. Thankful that my SIL's treatments are going well and she's not having any side effects from the treatments. Thankful for my job that helps pay the bills, the car that gives me transportation and a home to come home to.tThankful for the cleanup to both front and back yards that DS did. Thankful for the internet that has allowed me to get to know all of you!
Grace-I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Glad to hear about your Zumba class!
Patty-hope the arm issue and headache are gone soon.
That's about it. I'm going to go look through some more wedding photos before I have to leave for work. Hope you all have a great day!
Good morning. Today I have not one but two service guys heading my way.
