Good morning everyone! Does everyone have Staples around them? Have you seen their commercial with the parents riding joyfully on the shopping carts to the music it's the most wonderful time of the year as their children stand there with pouts? Well today is my day, lol. Bill has left with Katie, Rob will leave around noon and the house will go back to semi-normal, if I had a normal. Katie insisted she set her clock for 5:00 so she could shower and get herself done, I told her do not wake me under no circumstances.........I heard her bloody alarm go off anyway.........argh! Bill got up at 6:20 and is still slow moving but just a little bit better then he has been each day. I hope he is better by Thursday night because him and Rob are leaving for Eping, Vermont for

Good Morning,

Back to reality. Well mine is more of a reality after a 3 day weekend. But I know it's back to reality for DD and going back to work after the summer vacation. They have a new principal this year and it will be getting used to somebody new at the helm. The city doesn't actually start until tomorrow but she had to go in today for staff development.

Yesterday was another busy day here on the homefront. I'm on a roll although I think I wear myself out over the weekend and it takes me all week to recuperate. Yesterday was a good cleaning although DH is lucky there's a D in front of his name. I found him yesterday napping on the bed with his shoes on. Apparently that's ok as long as his shirt were under his feet. Sorry...I can't find an excuse not to take your shoes off...but that's just me. We've had this conversation before and apparently it doesn't make any difference what my feelings are on the topic. Then after cleaning, mopping and scrubbing he came in after working on his truck, walked in through the house across my bedroom rug to take his shoes off and put them by the front door. Wouldn't it just have been easier to take them off by the back door and put them on the mat. Maybe it's just me.

Anyway, Mt Laundry is just a hill now. The house is looking in good shape (for now) and back to the working world today and it's Tuesday!

Fitness is just not happening in my world. I seemed to be getting back into the swing of things and then I seem to have fallen off the swing once again and just can't seem to get back on. I'm so involved in trying to get things straightened out around here that it seems to be my #1 priority at the moment. Poor excuse but that's all I got.

Otto and I haven't been out since Saturday so an after dinner walk is on the agenda and then I have a bill of paper to go through. I have bills that need my attention and that will be my objective this evening. Hope to get some reading time in as well. I'm really trying to get reading time into my daily schedule. It's something that I enjoy but don't always make the time for it.

Time to head to the basement and finish up the last load of laundry in the dryer before heading to work.

Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!

Yesterday was truly "labor" day and back to reality for me. I was scheduled for 9:30 to 9:30. We did get out a few minutes after 9, but I shudder to think how many miles I walked at work yesterday. It was an OK day for me -- over $4,000 in sales, but I did over $7,000. on Saturday. One man, who I've decided is a freak of nature for his sales ability, sold over $18,000! He said one time he did $53,000. in a day, and it was all in one sale!!!!

I do that little abs wheel sometimes, some exercises with dumb bells, and a weighted hula hoop from time-to-time. Can't say I'm very consistent. Haven't gotten to swim lately, which I really miss. At least I still get to dance some and walk a LOT.

I was so tired last night. Pat came over late and watched the football game between Miami and FSU. He's a big FSU fan (boo! hiss!), as are my sister and niece in MD. The other niece just started the honors college at Georgia, another big Gator rival. Chick Fil-A had a team spirit day yesterday, so I used my key lanyard that has Gator emblems all over it to get a free chicken sandwich. :-) I slept better last night than I have in a long time.

Got up this AM and when I feet hit the ground it was like walking on needles. At least the sensation passed after a little while, but I'm sure it will return after I'm on my feet a while again today. I wear good Dansko shoes, magnetic insoles, and support stockings. Don't know how people do it in regular shoes with heels and bare legs!!

Dad is doing a little better. I still haven't been able to get to the hospital to see him, and I work 1:30 - 9:30 today. Of course, if he'd gotten worse, I'd have taken off work. Mom said the acidity of his urine has been reduced by 50%, which is a good thing. He has some kind of wicked bacteria though, and everyone has to wear yellow gowns when they go in and we're not supposed to kiss or touch him. He's getting IV antibiotics again. Poor guy. He has been through so much, but is such a trooper.

Cheryl gets here from MD tomorrow. I'm eager for that. I'll have a runnin' buddy again for going dancing, etc., when I have a little time off. She'll be here till the 24th and probably stay with Mom most of the time this visit. I'll be gone too much and Mom could really use the company.

My dinner with Erin, Joe, Jackson, Mom, Lisa, and a new beau of hers was very nice. I was waiting outside for Jackson to arrive and when he saw me he came running with his arms outstretched yelling "GRANMOMMMMMEEEE!!" It just melted my heart and all the frustrations of the day were long gone. Erin is huge. Looks as though she could have twins, but they say it's one girl.

Had a really good chat with Rob night-before-last for about an hour. First time in ages. He sounded really good and it made me feel good to know he's doing well and that he wanted to talk to me that long like we used to. They should be up the weekend of the 18th-20th when E, J, and J will be back in town for Jackson's 3rd
