Good Morning,

A beautiful morning here. Looks like some cooler, rainy weather headed our way for the end of the week.

Came downstairs last night to find that the dinner dishes were never done and the H sound asleep under the covers. So at 10:30 last night ended up washing dishes and cleaning up the kitchen. I was a bit wound up after that and headed back upstairs to do some reading and ended up talking to DS and his GF about books and movies and such. It was after 11 at that point and then I couldn't fall asleep. I've been up since before 6-it may be a very long day today.

I'm hoping to have the bed disassembled this evening and nails pulled out of the walls. I've come to the conclusion that the H isn't trying to help in that regard but rather he thinks I'm incapable of doing it the "right" way. All he would have to do is show me but instead I get I'll take care of it. Heard that too many times lately and then I wait until it's on his agenda. Yes, he's on my last nerve this morning. I'm hoping to have the room primed by the end of the week. Of course, I'm still not sure what color is going on the walls but at least the room will be ready!

Back to work this morning with the 9 to 5. It should be another nice evening for a walk with my favorite King of the Canines. We so enjoy our evening walks.

Lori-so good to see you posting. Your garden sure sounds like you had a great crop. The garden here wasn't so good and everyone who grew tomatoes around here were very disappointed. The only thing we had massive amounts of were cherry tomatoes and basil. Everything else was a big disappointment.

Li-Deb-hope JC went well for you last night.

Off to put laundry away before the work clock starts ticking. Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!

Good Morning Everyone,

Just catching up on the posts this morning. I chuckled when I read Shar's post about the flat belly diet because I bought that book at COSTCO a year ago when I moved and it's on my bookshelf unopened as of yet...maybe I need to get it out and actually read it.

I wanted to say good morning but it is past morning now. My weigh in last night showed a loss of only 2 ounces. I did not weigh in last week so I was worried and I had not been 100 % true to the plan...........but I am happy the scale did not go up! So fresh start this morning with my Jenny meals and game plan. Total loss in 6 weeks is 6.8 pounds, I will take it! I sat up last night and finished a book I was reading and then headed upstairs. Bill was on the computer last night and by the time he finished up I was too exhausted to post or read. Got up early this morning because we had an office meeting today. I was here at 8:30 so it has made for a long morning. No outside or after work plans today which will feel good after all my running yesterday afternoon/evening. I think dinner will be pork chops for Bill and Katie with a cashew chicken for me. We have a beautiful day today here on Long Island but I heard we are going to get some colder and wetter weather by Wednesday afternoon. I might have to pull my crockpot out.........see what you ladies have caused, lol. Well my coworkers are sitting her by me and I need to get back to work. I will check back with you all later!

Prayers are definitely coming the family's way for that dear baby girl and the impossible decision that had to be made. What a beautiful poem, Karen...

HI! Before reading the post here today, I decided to slow down and smell the roses. The house and I have been neglected lately and it was time to rectify that. So...that is what I did.

Rhonda...Happy Belated Birthday. Sorry it wasn't the day you had planned for yourself and I hope your Dad is doing as well as can be expected. So sorry to hear that he is so ill with pneumonia.

Deb...I think you are doing great with JC...there will be those weeks of extra challenge and to actually lose a little is a good thing.

Susan...sorry to see you had to clean the kitchen last night and the H lost his D. Hugs...

Nancy...hope you get good results from the blood work.

Reading about crock pots has made me hungry (again). One day I will get my act together early enough to put something together. My first Zumba class at the gym went well yesterday...the ladies said they would be back and would spread the word. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Things are about the same otherwise...no change in the rodent department. Just grateful for a healthy, beautiful family.

Bye for now...

Nancy,

My thoughts and prayers go out to them. I just can't imagine what a painful and difficult time this must be for them.
