OK only kidding, no dreams last night, none that I can remember anyhow. Watched the Barbara Walters interview last night with Patrick Swyaze and man I cried. Not a good way to drift off to sleep. Such a strong man, it is a big loss. I feel for his wife. Onto today...........we have cooler temps and cloudy skies above. Bill and Katie are out of here, Rob is up working outside an a detail job before he has to leave for class at 2 this afternoon, Billy has dropped off Cole and well I am going to head into the shower. I have already folded a batch of laundry, thrown on another batch which just shut off, made my bed, eatten my JC cereal and enjoyed my cup of tea while I played on FB and my farm. Today is a full day at the office, lucky me! I placed a huge Peapod order last night and that is scheduled to come tonight between 5:30 and 10:30 so I will get dinner done, hopefully sometime inbetween (before or after) the est time they give me later today. No JC dinner tonight I am going to bake chicken cutlets on my Pampered Chef stone and make some brown rice and steamed veggies. The rest of today will be JC food. Well I need to run and get my backside in gear. I hope everyone has a good day today. Catch you all later!

Good Morning,

Patty, can't say that I had visions of elephants with pumpkins this morning! But one never knows what Miss P will come up with!

It's a cloudy, cool, gray start to the day. I also woke up thinking it was Thursday-no such luck!

Back to legal eagle land this morning. Just hoping the day passes by quickly. I'm hoping that DH will feel like helping me paint the ceiling this evening. Of course at 8AM I'm ready to get started but not sure whether either one of us will be up to the task by 7PM. For whatever reason I really have trouble painting ceilings. I think it has to do with having the roller up over my head. We'll have to see what happens. I'm hoping that I can at least have the ceiling and walls painted by the first of next week.

I decided to move DD's bed frame into our room since it sits so high and thought it wouldn't look so overwhelming in our room rather than the small bedroom. I actually felt like I needed a step ladder to get into the thing! Hope I never roll over and fall out of bed. I would probably end up breaking something-mostly me.

Nothing much else going on around here. Exercise isn't happening once again since I've immersed myself in another project that seems to be using up the weekend and after work hours.

That's about it from my neck of the woods. Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

Well, I can't say I was expecting an elephant with a pumpkin this morning although I am having dreams about pumpkins lately.

Good afternoon, Patty and all! Yes...I am actually posting two days in a row. I have been so cranky with my terrible sleep patterns that I didn't want to come here and be a downer. I do way too much thinking at night.

Got out to take a 9:30 step class...unfortunately, it wasn't as challenging as I thought it would be. It was good exercise but the choreo was very basic and it is hard not to make your mind wander when it is that easy. I am glad I was sweating and got some ab and leg work in. Errands are done and I will go to one of the "ladies of the wool" house tonight to help her learn a new crochet stitch. It is kind of neat and I can read directions and translate for the ones who can't. These women are talented but they do by looking at a finished project and not like me who needs written directions.

Tomorrow I am helping DD take the kids for pictures at Babies R Us and granddaughter wants me to sleep over. Wasn't expecting that but she is having such a hard time with the divorce that I guess I should indulge her little. I really don't sleep anyway....

Nancy, your family is still in my prayers and thoughts and it was heartwarming to see the little one's valve can be used. Great job with your test results.

Susan, glad the D is back for DH. When that happens, it means he helped you out some around the house. Hope it keeps going for good while.

Margie, enjoy the fall like weather. It is so nice not to have to use "canned" air and not get scary electric bills.

Deb, yummy food you have planned. How do you cook the chicken on the stone. I have them and I never use them.

I am subbing Pilates this Saturday and then babysitting for other DD later on. Hmmm....when do I have me time? Of course, the Hartmann's that are living here are going away this weekend so it could have been a good time to spend one on one with DH, but that won't be happening now. One day we will go out for dinner for our anniversary that was in June.

Bye for now...

Grace

Debbie funny you posted this helmet thing........not really funny but you know what I mean. My sister, Sharon talked about Liam's head and his flat spot on the back of it so many times. She watches it like a hawk and her doctor has not recomended she seek the advice of a neurologist............yet. My co-worker who had her second grandson 3 months ago told me last week that her DIL was taking the baby to see a neurologist about a helmet because her pediatrician recomended she take him since he lays on his back too but turns his head to only one side while sleeping. She took the baby this past Monday and he said he wanted her to take the baby for physical therapy since he feels the baby's neck muscles are weak on the one side thus causing the reason for him always turning in that one direction. He does not want to do the helmet thing at this time. In all my years I have never heard of this but am completely stunned by how common this is now. My kids were side sleepers and I guess I just flipped them babies like flap jacks from left side to right side each time they went down I guess to avoid the flat head thing. I remember rolling a receiving blanket up and placing it behind them when they went to bed. I guess things have really changed in the 24 years since I first became a mommy. It is amazing I did not kill my kids too because they were only about 3 months old when I started putting them on their belly's.

Wyatt's is on the one side too.. I wonder if Melissa should ask about his neck muscles.. I don't think her peditrician said anything to her about that issue.
