Dealing With Menopause Your muscles are starting to droop, your sex drive is diminishing, and weight seems to pack onto your belly, butt, and thighs no matter what you do. That's right — you're headed for menopause. Menopause naturally occurs in women between the ages of 40 and 55, and during the years preceding menopause (aka perimenopause), we women are subject to some degree of unpleasant symptoms, including changes in our periods, hot flashes and night sweats, vaginal dryness, and irritability.
Lots swirling around in my head but not much I can act on for the moment. I keep going back to the thought that I would love to go back to working part time even if it was still 5 days a week. But know that can't happen for the foreseeable future. I'm at loose ends about a lot of things right now and can't seem to tie them together. Exercise is at such a back burner right now. I can't muster up any enthusiasm or energy to even think about it. I have all the tools just don't feel like picking them up and using them.
Anyway, back to the present day. Work turned into a free for all just as the day was winding down and then presented with our new file clerk. I had no time to really show her anything. Hopefully, I'll have some more time today. We'll just say I wasn't too excited about the possibility when I showed her the filing bins and the files and she asked me so exactly am I supposed to do with the papers? I guess I'll have to be a little more specific.
DH is supposed to go to the lumberyard today and buy molding. I'm hoping that he'll at least be able to cut and get it into place and then Saturday I can paint it and wrap this project up.
Karen-glad that Zach got home safely on Sunday. Some very nasty weather you had. Love your paint color!
Li-Deb-congratulations on the weight loss! I so understand your job frustrations-sounds all too familiar!
Margo-good to hear from you.
Margie-how did everything go with the painting situation? Did the list have to come out?
Shar-hope they get your medication situation straightened out. Scary about your friend on the bike-not a very pleasant birthday surprise.
Patty-hope everything works itself out with the chicken schedule.
Grace-how did the Monday Zumba schedule work out?
Guess that's about it from me. Off to the laundry room and folding of the never ending laundry. Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!
