Good Morning,

It is a beautiful fall day here. Temperatures are only in the 40's at the moment but the sun is shining.

Sometimes you need to simply accept yourself and just enjoy being yourself-something I'm really struggling with these days. I'm trying to take my work days one day at a time but definitely feel a sense of discontent these days. DH is talking about retirement in the next 2 years but I know that will leave me still needing to work full time. The kids are grown up and even though DS is still at home he is a pretty independent person. Anyway, just things mulling around in my head. I loved Nancy's post and her sense of contentment.

DS is leaving for Florida this morning this morning. He's flying down and will be driving his boss'car from her Florida house back to NY but he's also going to do the Richard Petty experience will be him driving a NAS car. He's not doing the drive along but rather the solo ride. He has to take a class before and of course there's a pace car in front of him but he's very excited!

I didn't realize the hour. My thankfuls are the good report about Otto. My job although I'm struggling with it at the moment.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Susan

Quick Thursday hello! I had company early today...younger DD and the two babies. We were then off to the library for story time for James. He was good but did his own thing...perfectly normal for an 18 month old active boy. I am home now and didn't get a workout in (again) and I have a pile of sewing to do if I want pants/workout pants to wear next week.

I am so chilled and it is a good day for meatloaf and the oven going on. It is going on very soon too!

Thankful for my loving healthy family and my good friends. Hope you all have a good day no matter what you "have to do". Glad Otto is doing so well, SUSAN. PATTY. your hair sounds like it came out nice. NANCY, I think you got more done flittering than I did not flittering. I did get 5 windows done, streaks and all. Oh well...

Bye for now..
Grace

Keep on keeping on!
