How will you spend your Saturday? Making plans for some shopping? The usual weekend chores? Rest and relaxation? Any exciting plans?

Good Morning,

It's dreary here this morning and very quiet. DH is at work, no pitter patter of DS size 11's getting ready for work and Otto is asleep in his bed...so just me, myself and I debating about what to do today.

Now you all know of my history with strange things being in various places in the house. So this morning I'm trying to figure out the eggshells in the ziplock bag that have been sitting on the kitchen counter since Tuesday. Usually I just pick up and throw out but I'm curious of why they are still sitting there. I am assuming that the egg shells are to be thrown in DH's compost bin the backyard but can't quite figure out why he hasn't done that. That along with a remote belonging to the system from out last cable provider. I went to throw it out and was told he had a "plan". Ok any thoughts? I'm out and yes the exasperation level rises.

I may attempt the bedroom closet today. My summer things need to be sorted out and the fall/winter things sorted through to see what's worn out, what doesn't fit etc. I live in fear of taking the closet fully apart because I know I'm going to end up shaking my head at what I find in there. There's always the basement as well. There's just so much stuff of DD's down there along with the regular assortment that I'm not sure I'm in the mood at the moment. We'll just have to see how the day goes. There's the usual amount of bathroom cleaning, laundry etc. Once again I can't really clean the house with everything all over the place. Another case of pulling up the big girl panties and do what I can and just turn down the anxiety level I get myself into.

I really am thinking really hard about getting some exercise in. I know it will help with the mental state. I do believe I bought myself a DVD awhile ago and never did it so I may dust it off and throw it into the DVD player. Have to grab hold of that fitness wagon again.

Soup is on the menu this evening. Crab and potato I think was the choice I made. Possibly pull out the bread machine as well. Leftover soup always makes for good lunches during the work week.

Nancy-I love spaghetti squash. I haven't made it in a really long time. I have a good recipe for it and if I find it I'll post it. Li-Debs version sounded really good.

Better get myself up and out of the chair and away from the computer and if you hear strange noises that would be me actually exercising!

Hope everyone has a super Saturday!

Beautiful morning here today - I stayed up reading far too late last night, plus I got back on the computer for some game time with a second glass of wine. Thus, I didn't roll out of bed until 9:00.

Glad you are feeling better today, Margo. I wish I thought about making french toast this morning. Now I HAVE to make it tomorrow.

Hi, all...house is full of family again and very noisy so it is going to be a quick check in. I tried to do some weights today and got interrupted. No plans otherwise except to finally do some sewing and pick up big pieces if the house empties out.

Hope you all are having a good day...very soggy here.

Happy Saturday!

Well, it's not happy-looking outside - raining cats and poodles since dawn,
