Resting heart rate log

I am over 40 and been exercising for about a month. I just read about the importance of monitoring your resting heart rate to determine when you have overtrained and need to rest. I started a log with a beginning RHR of 78.
I'm wondering what rate of decline to expect if I exercise 4-5 days a week for 45 minutes.
Please share your RHR had how fast it declined as you have pursued a more active lifestyle.
