I'm going to do this now because I know I'll be in bed and sound asleep before it gets very late tonight.

It's been a busy day around here. The groceries were purchased and put away and then off to have my piggies and nails done. My piggies are a pretty shade of red called Show Stopper and my nails in the usual neutral shade called Flower Girl-who thinks up these names?

I came home for some lunch and a cup of coffee and did some reading and then had to dive into the household matters that needed to be done. The laundry is done although I will confess that I don't have any energy left to go down and finish the folding and hanging and what's in the laundry basket is going to stay there for tonight. The bills are all paid, checkbook register all in order and the bills actually put away in the filing cabinet. My garbage pail of stuff is now just what it's supposed to be-garbage.

Otto went out for a lovely afternoon walk. It was a beautiful day here and quite warm for October. Dinner was a nice buttermilk baked chicken with mashed cauliflower and peas tossed with some garlic and prosciutto and tomato that had been sauted. I made amaretto apple cupcakes this afternoon for dessert. I would have loved more than one but stopped myself at just one.

My legs are still aching from yesterdays workout and going up and down the stairs has been challenging as well as keeping up with Otto when he decided we should run the first few blocks. I had a hard time keeping up with him.

The ironing board is staying where it's at just no energy left. I'm going to head to the shower and then put in my Netflix and I'm pretty sure 10 is about as far as I'm going to get before going to bed. Monday morning is coming way too fast!

Nancy-hope you're feeling better.

Hope you're all enjoying a good evening!

Slept like the dead until 9:00 this morning, then sat and read the paper with an english muffin w/peanut butter and a cup of tea.

Nancy, I hope you'll feel like yourself again soon. If you don't feel well Monday, do yourself a favor and stay home and rest. Hugs to you.

Today was a nice, lazy at-home day. It started off cloudy and drizzly, but the dampness ended around noon and the sun came out around 3 pm.
