Yes, TGIF! This week has been a long one and truthfully, I thought yesterday was never going to end. I hit the exhaustion wall about 2PM yesterday and the time was just creeping along. I came home absolutely exhausted-can't blame a stressful day, it was just so slow moving which for me can be even more tiring. I really thought a nice walk with Otto would revive me but it didn't. All I wanted to do was put my pj's on and curl up and doing nothing.
I did help DH move the bed back into the bedroom. I pulled out the comforter set I bought a few months ago and I was so disappointed. There's only a small area of pattern and the rest is all white. It's so stark looking. I know I'm looking at it in a room that still remains unfinished with no curtains and nothing on the walls. I'm going to look for a big fluffy throw to put at the end of the bed and hope that breaks up the white. DH put the brass headboard back on as well. I've really detested that headboard for a number of years so I may take that off and see if I can figure out something we can put together. I'm thinking some beadboard and perhaps attach it to the wall behind it. I have to get some of my BH&G magazines and see if I can get some ideas. It's so frustrating to put a room together and not like the end result.
Today is probably going to be another long day. MY coworker is still out due to a death in her family. And I found out yesterday that the other one is leaving early to take her DD to a concert. Not sure what time she's leaving.
Uh-Oh just looked at the time and I'm still in my pjs-gotta go!
Mother Nature had a hot flash here today - 85 degrees and hoomid as August - YUCK!!!
