Good Morning,

Home safely from our trip to MA. It was a very nice weekend with DD and her BF. We arrived before either of them were home from work so we stopped at Subway and split a sandwich. The boys went to the U Mass hockey game in the evening while us girls went shopping. I found some nice sweaters and a pair of jeans in Penneys and a very pretty plum cardigan sweater and cami in Ann Taylor all on sale. Saturday morning they took us to breakfast at a place called Hot Tables which offered delicious breakfast panninis. The weather turned nice and we took a ride to a town called Wilberham-beautiful country roads with absolutely magnificent houses with the most magnificent views. The trees are all turning and it was a really nice ride. We came back to the house and DH put together some closet bottoms for DD. It's hard to explain the bottom on the closet but he put in a nice flat shelf in their coat closet and spare bedroom closet to it's better for storage. She was thrilled! DD and I headed to the supermarket and to Home Goods while the boys were working on that. Home after that and I helped DD put together dinner. Her BF's family came for dinner. We always try to do that while we're up there. Yesterday was a complete washout as far as the weather. We went to breakfast at another nice place and by the time we got home it was time to load up the truck and start heading home. The ride home took longer than it should have and it was mainly because of people stopping to gawk at a minor fender bender at the side of the road. Almost an hour to go 2 miles.

The only crimp in the weekend was an early Saturday AM phone call from DS that there was something wrong with Otto. He couldn't open his eye and when it did open it looked like his eye was rolled back in his head. DS called the vet and got him in that morning. The eye was looking better by the time he got him there and it turns out that Otto has pink eye. The vet gave him a cream that has to be rubbed into the corner of his eye 2x a day. Poor Otto!

Now it's back to trying to get back into the working AM routine. Not sure I'm ready for it:)! I do have to get back into a fitness pattern. I've really been a fitness slug and looking at the mirror while shopping I'm seeing what months of fitness neglect has done-not a pretty picture! Like Nancy, there was a lot of munching in the car and eating at different times and my stomach didn't react well to it either! I did finally hear back from the doctor's office about my scan and everything is fine.

Li-Deb-Congratulations to Billy and Christine! Any idea of when the big day will be?

Margo-glad you had a nice visit and are home safe and sound.

Nancy-good to hear that you've been able to start harvesting.

Patty-big changes going on in your neck of the woods. I hope things work out with all the changes going on.

Deb/MN-happy belated birthday to Trevor!

DH is still on vacation. He worked last Monday and his normal day off is Tuesday so he doesn't have to go back to work until Wednesday! I think he's got enough to keep him busy around here!

Better get moving and prepare myself to get back to they mayhem and foolishness that probably awaits me.

Hope everyone has a magnificent Monday!

Hello, all...fitness is factored in but we will see how it goes. I make these great plans and then they fall by the wayside. Thank goodness I have Zumba to fall back on but I MUST get some weights and abdominal exercises in again. Zumba works the core, but not enough. Now I ask you...how hard is it to even squeeze in some pushups, tricep dips, crunches? Hate that I can't focus and as Nike says...JUST DO IT!!!

Big mistake making those spicy peanut noodles yesterday. But, I a saying they were dessert.

It was a no show on the class this morning. This gym is suffering with the economy and the attendance in the whole place is down. Two of the women are on vacation and the others don't come every week and I knew there was trouble when I saw the parking lot was practically empty. This gym needs to advertise and I know attendance will go up with how expensive Zumba classes are in other places. Thankfully I have 2 classes to do later and people do show up for those!

Lots going on here at the board again/always. Welcome home SUSAN AND NANCY and glad you had a nice time. Poor OTTO! What next for the poot guy? Great about the soybeans being harvested and the nice weather NANCY. I hear both of you about eating the wrong things really wreak havoc with the tummy. I am having trouble eating out or eating catered food lately. Sushi seems to be the only think I can tolerate as well as my lower fat homemade cooking.

MARGIE...glad you were able to get some things done around the house. That was nice of brother in law to help out. Also, glad you are taking more time for you and good work with the exercise even with getting the house in order.

KAREN...don't you just love how things that others should be responsible for are your fault? Yep, the joys of motherhood. Good luck with the renovations. Hang in there....

DEBBIE...emotions are all over the place for you. It is good and with your bubbly personality, the meeting with the parents will go great.

MARGO...enjoy your day off even though you have to clean. Sorry about the root canal that went bad...ewwwww.

Gotta go for now...

Toodles
Grace
