Nice morning post Miss P. My posts are far and few between lately and I am sorry about that. I miss so much when I can not pop in daily. Life has been a bit busier then normal for me and I don't like it. I hate that I have to work the extra hours, I liked my 2 days off but that has ended and I am back to 4 full days a week. The last 3 Fridays when I should be home all day catching up they were spent helping out one day in the office, driving up to CT to babysit and helping at our shop.........this Friday will be no different as I am heading back up to CT to watch my nephew again. Anyway................another busy weekend and week. Saturday was Halloween and spent catching up around here and toting Katie to the barn. Sunday was spent at my middle sisters house celebrating my niece's 12th birthday and visiting with the family (including younger sister and nephew). Monday was back to work full swing that got me out at 5:30 and off to JC. After not being there for a week I can say I only put back on 4 ounces (my eatting was bad). Tuesday was work again but we had to go to our friend John's mom's wake. No birthday celebration for Billy since the entire family made an appearance. We took MIL with us and after we ran to the diner to eat since it was late and we were all starving. Tuesday night Bill decided he wanted to attend the funeral and mass so I called my coworker and she covered for me Wednesday morning. So Wednesday was running back over to Huntington during rush hour traffic, said our final good-bye then we went to the church. We got out at 10:30 and headed home, Bill changed and headed into the shop and I into my office. Worked until 5:30 again last night and just collapsed when I got home. Threw some pork chops in the oven, set the table and changed into my wonderful sweat pants. Katie ran the vacuum for me and folded a batch of laundry to help out. Oh she also cleaned her room, thank heaven. MIL left yesterday for CA to visit her DD and grandkids for 6 days so I will be checking in with FIL to help out. We are supposed to go out tonight to dinner for Billy's birthday celebration so I am not sure what our horse plans will be.

Good Morning,

Thanks for the reminder Miss P of being grateful for what we have! Things on the other side of the fence aren't always what they appear to be!

It is another beautiful fall day here on LI. The sun is bright and the ever changing leaves are really pretty.

I seem to be running on empty this morning. I couldn't keep my eyes open last night and found myself falling asleep in the chair for a good portion of the evening. I guess it's just that getting to the end of the week syndrome. It was a very busy day at work yesterday as well.

Another usual before work morning here with the washer and dryer doing their thing. My boss will be out for the next two days. Hopefully it won't be two days full of text messages!

Thankful for the beautiful fall days and the beauty that fall brings. Thankful that the work week is on the downward side of done. Thankful for home and family and friends. Thankful for all of you.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hello, all! Thankful that back is feeling better. Now I know it was intestinal...my side started hurting and that means the diverticulosis was aggravated. So far so good today and I am thankful that I will be exercising my right to Zumba tonight...:-).

Margo, I am glad the noise level has settled down in your neck of the woods. Are there earphones or a headset for the game/tv? That may be an answer to having that problem again.

Patty, good for you for figuring out what went wrong in CL. Good luck to DH and the new job and with the changes for all.

Debbie, great job at JC with not going for 4 weeks. You sure are busy with the extra hours at work and not that much help at home. Hope it changes for you soon.

Karen, those days happen a lot...lots of plans but they go up in smoke. I am doubling up today too with not doing much yesterday with my back.

Sharlene, nice seeing you. Thanks for the laughs yesterday with that email.

Nancy, great walk you had with not feeling good. Great walk with feeling good! I just got mixed up with when to use good and well. Anyhoo, take it easy at work today. Glad the soybeans are in and that harvest is behind you.

I agree with, Susan, and others that walking is great form of exercise. I do think of exercise but not that much. It really is just a part of my life. I do have to think of which workout to do. I also do not believe in no pain no gain anymore. Moderation is the way to go for me. That was a good thread, Nancy. My obsessions are with the scale and the eating. It is always on my mind. Constantly thinking of the points of everything whether I am on plan or not. Going to WW made me obsess and I even brought it up at a meeting that I do obsess over everything I put in my mouth. They said it was a good thing to be aware...but I don't think it is good to be that aware.

Ok...enough of that!

Thankful for all the good family stuff and things moving along with DD. Glad things are ok so far with us in this economy.

Gotta go for now...

Talk to you later if I am not too tired after Zumba. I may take the class before mine too.

Grace

Keep on keeping on!
