Good morning from CT...........yesterday was a marathon day cleaning my house and doing my laundry. Left NY around 2:30 and got here around 4:00. Had a relaxing evening with my sister Sharon and Liam. Liam has a cold so he is not feeling too well and we had a rough night last night. Although he was down at 8:00 he was up twice before we went to bed at 11:30. He was up from 3 to 4 this morning so Sharon is going to be dragging later today.......long shift 7 to 7! He got up at 6:30 had a bottle, I changed his diaper and he was ready to rock & roll. He is in his pack & play right now with Sesame Street on, I made some tea for myself and came here to see what was going on. I will feed him some cereal in a few then wash him up and put his clothes on. I guess we will play a little and maybe he will go down for a morning nap. I am hoping he does this way I can shower and clean up a little around here. I promised Sharon I would make some chicken soup today so Liam and I will head to Stop & Shop after lunch to get the makings. Babysitting is not easy but I will survive, lol. Katie opted to stay in NY with Bill and actually this morning they were driving to Englishtown, NJ for a big race but just to watch. I made a crumb cake for them to take with them. Tomorrow Katie has school work to do so she will be busy. Well have a great day, my tea is done and Liam is yelling in there, wish me luck!

Good Morning,

Bright sunny skies but very chilly. First frost was on the ground this morning. I didn't get up until almost 7:30 this morning and Otto just got up as well. I was totally exhausted from a pounding day at work yesterday. It was my coworker's birthday yesterday so I ordered in so we could have an office lunch together although the cake never got out of the box. We sat for about 1/2 hour and then back at it. I was so very happy to climb between the sheets last night.

I've been putting off a trip to Costco and still could probably put it off for another week but DD asked me to pick her up something so I guess that's where I'm headed this morning. The leaves in the front of the house should be raked up and there's a ton of leaves and debris in the front shrubs that should be cleaned out as well and there's inside work and laundry that needs to be tended to as well...decisions, decisions!

Other than that it's pretty much a typical Saturday around here. Not really feeling the need to push myself on anything today...too tired.

Deb-good luck with the babysitting! Chicken soup sounds so yummy!

Hope everyone has a splendid Saturday!

Mani and pedi's for Donner and Blitzen, the hardest part of the morning--getting them in to their travel cages and driving the 3 min to the vet :).

Hello...a quick post before I get back to cleaning which I was so rudely interrupted by DD and grandkids...NOT!! I will take interruptions like that any time. Little Josie got me out for a walk with the beautiful sunshine we are having today. Love the smell of the autumn air. I did get rid of the gray roots that were screaming at me and I finally did a good job. Harder to do with the longer hair.

It took awhile to get out of bed this morning after a week full of exercise and using some muscles I haven't used in awhile in yesterday's class. I did 1 1/4 hour cardio sculpt class and then "auditioned" for the owner to start teaching for her in another location (dance studio) in January. It went very well and I am in like Flint or something like that. I also took an offer to start Zumba classes Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting December 1. I will have to give up a class at "the gym" that doesn't pay well, but I am getting a lot more pay with this opportunity. As soon as I took the job, I got a phone call coming in from "the gym" in another location offering me Zumba classes Tuesday and Saturday starting January. I said I already took a class Tuesday nights and the the pay is not worth it to me. When the manager heard what I was getting paid at "the gym" she said it was a definite insult. She will get me more money if I consider doing Saturdays. So I am considering it. If this pans out I will have 4 permanent Zumba classes a week plus helping the instructor with the foot injury. Woo hoo!!! I will also get group fitness exercise classes too. Now if you understood all that, you are really good!!!!

I started counting WW points today and should have a good week coming up with exercising since I am subbing Tues and Wed (step and boot camp for the next two weeks), plus my classes. I am hoping the Zumba opportunities will keep me motivated to get healthy. Also read an article (another article) how important eating the right foods...high fiber, whole grains, lean chicken and fish, vegetables, legumes and a small amount of fruit...are so important for heart health especially with CAD. I am posting this article right on the fridge to remind me to stick to it. Sushi with white rice (no other option) will be my one indulgence as well as some Thanksgiving foods. Ugh...Thanksgiving and the holidays...I CAN DO IT!!!

Ok..this was supposed to be short so I get back to cleaning. I don't want to have to do it tomorrow.

Bye for now...

I will finish reading posts then...
