Hi All - As it is almost 5:00 somewhere, it should be late enough for a check-in.

I love Ross even though there are none around here. I get my fix when I travel.

It is never too early for a check in

It's been one of those days where I should listen to the little voices inside my head that were telling me just to take the day off instead of the other little voice that was laying the guilt trip on me that there was too much to do around here. Why does that guilty little voice shout so much louder.

Started off the day at Costco. In spite of my promise to stick to the list I, of course, didn't and ended up spending more than I wanted/intended. While loading the car I noticed a huge scratch on the side of my car from the passenger door all the way to the rear bumper. It looks like someone keyed the car. Fortunately I don't think it's deep enough that it went down into the paint and I'm hoping it can be buffed out. Why do people do things like that? Came home and of course it's taking everything back out of the car and hauling stuff to the basement. I did manage to clean out both freezers. I found a few unidentifiable specimens but it was more or less just seeing what was in both of them and organizing a little bit better. At least I know what's in there now. I played with a Wii Fit game for about 1/2 hour and then decided I had better get the show on the road around here. Started some laundry and before I knew it it was time for lunch. Since I wasn't feeling overly motivated or enthusiastic about anything I stopped for a cup of coffee hoping that some extra caffeine would jolt me. I did manage to do a half hearted vaccuming and bathroom cleaning. Took Otto out for a nice afternoon walk in the sunshine. I made a blast from the past of stuffed peppers for dinner. DH was asking about them a few weeks ago. I can't even remember the last time I made them. Of course in undertaking that task I managed to spill an entire box of rice all over the kitchen floor. It's truly amazing how far those little things can travel! I then managed to cook them with the cover off instead of the cover on and although they were a little drier than they should have been DH seemed to enjoy them. I decided to take an early shower and managed to wash my hair with body wash-smelling a bit like cucumber and melon!

I have decided enough is enough for the day and I'm going to curl up in my chair, see if I can manage to put together some menus for the coming week.

Hope you've all enjoyed a splendid day!
