*~* Veterans Day *~*

Veterans Day continues to be observed on November 11, regardless of what day of the week on which it falls. The restoration of the observance of Veterans Day to November 11 not only preserves the historical significance of the date, but helps focus attention on the important purpose of Veterans Day: A celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

Good morning. This morning

I wish I could get DH to eat better. I think I cook in a pretty healthy way but he knows that he tends to eat too much and know he should get in some form of exercise but doesn't and loves junk food. He's not overweight and with all his blood work and bp within normal ranges it's hard to convince him that he's doing anything wrong! Good luck to both of you!

I didn't have a hard time at all converting from beef to turkey. DH actually likes it better. He's rather have a turkey burger over a regular hamburger. DD always liked the turkey better as well. DS isn't a huge fan but if it is something that he likes and happens to be made with turkey he will eat it as well.
