Good Morning,

The sun has appeared and since I have yet to venture outside not sure what the temperature is like outside.

I've already gotten my workout in.

Good morning Susan! Chilly temps here on Long Island and I for one am sick of this weather. They say more snow heading our way on Monday again! Busy week work wise........down right exhaustion for me. I should not be this tiered when I get home but I am. Successful week at Jenny yesterday, down 3 pounds. I have gone up and down these last few weeks (since Christmas) that I do not know what I have lost. I think it is 10 pounds total at this point. I am hoping to follow the program as much as possible to see another loss next Friday. I find myself not popping in here as much as I should because there is no fitness in my life and well "Getting Fit in your 40's" just aint happening for me. Kind of ashamed to be honest here. After my Monday thru Thursday it was good to be off yesterday. After my JC meeting I ran to the market and bought some fresh veggies and fruits then came home to clean, clean, clean. Managed to clean my closet, strip my bed, wash my bedding, dust my room and clean the upstairs bathroom. Inbetween my JC and the cleaning I had a GC for a 30 minute massage which I used. It was alright, new place. The woman talked too much and my shoulders are really hurting today. I won't be going back there again. Todays cleaning

I can't believe it is 5:30 already!!!

I woke up at 5:30 this morning, (when I usually get up for work) and had to force myself to stay in bed for another hour, then up I popped.

Thanks Margo and Patty, I am not going anywhere. I just feel funny coming because so many days I have little to share. Last nights dinner was really good! I do not do homemade sauce so I buy Bertolli Vodka Sauce. If you really want to know I buy the 2 pound bag of frozen jumbo size shrimp (not cooked). After they defrost I peel and rinse them. In my nonstick wok style frying pan I put a little olive oil, some minced garlic and some sliced sundried tomatoes, once the oil starts to warm up and the garlic and sundried tomatoes warm up I throw the shrimp in and toss until the shrimp are pink. Then I open 2 jars of sauce but I only put 1 1/2 jars into the frying pan on low to simmer. While that is simmering I open a box of Green Giant chopped spinach (no sauce) and microwave it until it is defrosted. Squeeze the juice from the spinach after it is warm and throw that into another small sauce pan. I put the other half of the vodka sauce onto the spinach. Cook 2 boxes of rigatoni pasta. Dice up some fresh mozzarella and when the pasta is done pour the shrimp mixture and the cheese on top and mix. I would mix the spinach in with it but Bill hates spinach so we just spoon the spinach onto our plates and mix it on our plates. There ya go.............nothing homemade!
