What a pretty picture, Miss P. Nicer to look at than anything outside my windows. So gray and wet!
Job news - I didn't get the position. I'm not surprised, either. Youth wins, at least in my workworld.I won't know what the choice's background is until I can see her resume, but I will get it and compare. I suspect that having friends in all the right places played a role. Qualifications better than mine, maybe, but I have my doubts. She holds the same title at her former employer that I do now, plus she's a friend of my former supervisor and the other young 'un in our group. Hmmm is all I'm sayin'...
I'm headed out on the train as I type - my niece's rescheduled school play is tonight and I don't want to miss a minute; driving between where I'll be and her school is tricky during rush hour, so DH and I will head up now and grab a quick bite to eat somewhere along the way.
Grace, I'm sorry the rat is at it again. Susan, I hope the office calms down and the new part-timer rovides some relief and is a quicker learner.
Patty, that's tough news for Ryan's GF. I pray things work out for her and she finds something new quickly. Too bad about Bob's problems - I think of how our neighbors' old Golden was, and it's heartbreaking.
Finally, a big welcome to Maria. Congrats on your DD's college acceptance, and to you for joining the ranks of exercisers. Keep it up - baby steps is a great approach, but don't forget to challenge yourself!
I know I read more, but Im now in watching-for-DH-in-the-rain-and-fog mode. Need to keep my eyes on the traffic.
