My only goal this week is to get through it, lol. Morning ladies........well my bliss ended around 4 in the afternoon when I went to pick up Rob and Katie. Although they were laughing in the car once home we had some yelling...argh! And the huge bag of laundry from the two of them! Got the machine twirling and swirling again ( I guess the machines thought they were on vacation, lol ) and worked on some dinner. They were both hungry I guess for my food. Grilled chicken on the BBQ with rice, steamed carrots and sliced tomatoes. Bill got home around 8ish and was hungry too so we warmed up some dinner for him. Bill & Christine headed right to her parents (don't understand that one since I was the one watching the dog for 3 days). Everyone had long and horrible rides back home onto Long Island. Glad I stayed put! Around 9:30 Billy calls and askes if Cole can spend another night, they were too tiered to drive to my house. You can only imagine

No particular goal - just progress (accent on the 2nd syllable) in all aspects of health and fitness that I've reinitiated, not regress to bad habits.

Sounds like everyone had a really nice weekend. Debbie - WOOHOO for leaving home without making the bed! LOL ;) Glad you had some quiet time (well, as quiet as it could be with the 4-legged menagerie around you). Nancy, happy to hear your recovery is going smoothly. Don't overdo in your impatience

The butterfly effect is a term used in Chaos Theory to describe how tiny variations can affect giant systems, and complex systems, like weather patterns. The term butterfly effect was applied in Chaos Theory to suggest that the wing movements of a butterfly might have significant repercussions on wind strength and movements throughout the weather systems of the world, and theoretically, could cause tornadoes halfway around the world.

Hi everyone! I just heard about the butterfly effect yesterday. Someone tied it into a running article. I thought it was so interesting. He wrote about how each workout and each day

It's supposed to rain again to day and tomorrow, so I did laundry all weekend, since we don't use a dryer. I know California needs the rain, but I am so over it. They don't let the kids out on the playground when it rains, so dd is just nutz when the weather is like this.

As far as taking care of myself, I have my ultrasound tomorrow for my ovarian cyst/fibroma/whatever. It will be nice to have it out of the way and know what the heck is going on. It's hard not to be a bit pre-occupied about it. My partner keeps asking "what's wrong" because I'm not listening so much about cars, tools,
