Good morning everyone!It is Friday , right?I've been confused since Tuesday......of 1998..

So is today going to be fun, frantic, laid back or fast paced? The week has gone well, taken you to the edge several times, given you things to think about or been uneventful?I like to sit down on Sunday evening and plan out my week. Then I like to sit back down about Friday or so and see if I even got close to my plan.

I read a good article in MORE magazine where they interviewed different over 40 fitness experts. It was interesting to read their responses to different questions. Molly Fox gave an answer to "What

Good Morning,

A beautiful morning it is. The rain cleared out the humidity and the skies are bright blue. Perfect day for being outside too bad I can't be there.

It was indeed with a heavy heart that I had to dig through the closet to find something to wear not associated with Casual Friday. Don't these XY's know that it takes a lot to find something presentable by Friday. And then to have to run to the grocery store in "office wear". I actually think we'll all conform on this one-but no one is happy! So maybe I'll ditch the office tell them there's a party at the palace bring my comfortable self down to Patty's for flamingo dishes, cabana boys and little pink umbrellas and then maybe they'll decide a need a mental health vacation for let's say a month or so! I was very jealous of older DD's pajama day for her 1st graders. She went to school in her pink and yellow chicken pj's. Yes Patty she has pj's with little yellow chicks on them-do I get an extra mile for that :)?

Unfortunately reality tells me that I will go to the office, do my 9 to 5, run to the grocery store for the weekly stock up, come home unload groceries, put groceries away and that we'll be the day.

DD is traveling down for the Father's Day weekend and I'm looking forward to having her here. We are supposed to be heading to a friend's house tomorrow and possibly a Strawberry Festival by her house.

Time to finish getting ready for work. Hope you all have a fantabulous Friday!

Found your post, princess. Great one at that. I am off today and it looks like its going to be a beutiful one at that. I have lots to keep my busy here between bathrooms, laundry, and dusting I could be doing it for the next 2 year straight. However I will only have until 10:30. I meet with Kim my trainer at 11 this morning and then after Kim I plan on walking and/or running for an hour. Need to run off some fustrations, as I posted in my checkins last night. I got on the scale this morning and it said 141.6 so I am taking that as my start and rejournaling again and following points. I did journel yesterday and stayed within my points, so that is a good feeling. Getting back in control.

Very good quote Patty but hard to discover. Many of us (especially myself) are in denial about how we want our bodies to look and feel. I am slowly, very slowly starting to accept this. Not something you just wake up one morning and accept, although I am still trying to change this body and make it the best "it" can be for me, now.

I will join you for a pool side drink and a swim. Wish I had ladies around whom I could do that with from time to time. I miss that. Our weekend will be semi busy, Bill and Rob plan on going to Jersey to see the pros race on Saturday. Saturday night my sister is having a candle party. You should see the face I got when I said I had plans to go. I was like well you are gone all day.........like I want to sit home Saturday night with him. Not with how he has been the last few days/weeks. Gee whiz I need some girly, sister time. Sunday will be busy taking down what is left of the pool. Not fun, but the new one should be in soon.

Well that is it. Time for my breakfast and get this house into some shape. Have a wonderful Friday and do not work to hard.

Good morning and thanks, Patty! Always happy when I can come up with 5 new questions. Some weeks it's a struggle, but they came easily last night.

My computer is running slowly and messing me up. I lost my check-in post last night. I got 7 miles for yesterday -- 6 for riding my bike and 1 for eating well. Still struggling with water consumption.

Went to Lowe's, the ATM, Walmart, Target, drug store, and the grocery store for the week during the day. Got 3 Ixora bushes to replace the rose bushes that just aren't getting enough sun where they're planted. They're pretty tropical and only hardy to 30 degrees F., so I'll be covering those this winter when I cover the hisbiscus bushes. Although

Good morning,

A storm moving in here, so I'll definitely be doing inside stuff today.

I'm really wanting to get a good UB workout in and probably some AB time too! Apart from that, it's going to be some laundry, run the vacuum, swish the bathroom and work on my new painting. Exciting eh?

I had a good day yesterday. Did my 5 mile walk on Dallas Road with a friend. Eating was very good and I managed my two litres of water, so I'm a happy camper. 7 for me please.

Have a goo one ladies!

plans include prepping for our bookshelves to be delivered YAY! and studying for my test. I fixed my bicycle seat and DH's handlebars so we can ride to the farmer's market tomorrow. I found out the bottom of the column of his handlebars is broken. I'm a little worried about that. Think I should run down to the local bike shop and see about how much it'll cost to fix and if it's safe to ride. If it's not safe to ride, I'm gonna make a claim to the insurance for the shipping people - I watched the moving guy crank those handlebars around without loosening the nut first - I'm pretty sure that's when it broke.

this evening, we're going to a french movie near his work. he loves french movies - i'm dubious...

i'm feeling like i should find a chiropractor one of these days - see what's covered by my plan. it would be nice to get adjusted... my workouts help the muscles strengthen so i dont go out of adjustment as often but still...

This weekend, no real plans. I have a couple of pieces of furniture to stain - That should be kinda fun actually.

Love the quote. I love when I'm feeling strong and flexible. It's a great feeling.

Have a fabulous friday!

LOL! See my post earlier in this thread for that little tidbit. She is a member of his fan club and has seen him like 6 times in 29 years and is going again in August, I think to Atlanta.

As a member of his fan club, she was eligible for a contest to be one of 40 people to get to sit in on one of the recording sessions for his reunion CD with Jim Messina in Washington, D. C. She won and was going to take a guy she's been seeing off-and-on. The session got postponed, so she decided to take her daughter instead. Apparently, she has "a plan." ;-)

She is really crazy about Kenny, and I thought she was joking when she said
