It's that time of the week again! Though many of us are thrilled to see Fridays come and the weekend arrive, I know that many of us struggle to stay on board over these days too!

Here's a Mini Challenge for us:

  • To drink a minimum of 60oz each day this weekend!

  • To move your body in some way each day this weekend!

  • To allow yourself one treat over this weekend!

ALSO-
Anyone have anything fun and exciting planned this weekend?
What's your favorite thing about weekends?

WOW, thanks for the challenge! i think i will take you up on it. the only thing i probably won't do is allow myself a treat this weekend. only because just Wednesday we had a celebration at work and i had 2...yes, i said 2 pieces of cake and 2 glasses of champagne. did i mention the strawberries dipped in white chocolate?

Weekends are especially great for me because i get to spend more time with my son. this weekend we are going to my hometown to see my parents. i plan to walk Saturday and Sunday morning with my mother (she does about 3m).

HAve a great and blessed weekend all!!!

Wow! That's a lot of water. Many many many trips to the bathroom. lol. But I'll try to aim for it. I'm going to be moving a lot for about 3-4 hours straight. I'm golfing. Not a lot of exertion, but at least it's moving and walking. =) As for my one thing for myself, today I am getting my hair done. Not sure what I'm doing yet, but I'm getting it cut and highlighted. Yeah!

That's all my excitement. I don't know if I can handle much

Well I will be doing my best on the mini-challenge!

Anyone have anything fun and exciting planned this weekend?
Nothing really that fun is 'planned' but I'm sure something will be happening. I know there is another regatta on this weekend, over in the British VI, I may go over tomorrow! Plus I know I want to get my taxes done, yep...I'm a procrastinator, lol!
What's your favorite thing about weekends?
Not having to get up so early! However I love when I do wake up full of energy on the weekends knowing that the time I have is mine! Another favorite is going out! I love to know that I don't have a curfew! lol- yes, I give myself one on 'school nights'!!

Have a great weekend everyone

I know you can do most of that water- it's the bare minimum we should be drinking per day anyway, and one of the best additions I did for myself when I started on this fitness journey! I think after time your bladder will become accustomed to it, lol!

Golfing- a great way to get in some movement! A friend of mine it trying to get me to go with him sometime soon. I've never played it- but for some reason he thinks I'll be ok at it, I on the other hand disagree!! In any case, I hope you enjoy it and have some nice weather while on the green! (see I even know the lingo, lol!)

How is your hair? What did you get done (cut-wise)? Hope you're happy with it!

Enjoy your weekend and nice to have you here with us ~IG

Well, if the snow ever melts I may be able to go outside. We got between two to three inches on Wednesday after a few days of temps in the high 60's to low 70's. That really sucks!!! So, as soon as the snow is gone we will get our bikes and skates back out and we will be heading down to the river.

I will join you in the water challenge. I need it. The kids have been bringing home so many sweets from school.

The thing I love about weekends is staying up late and watching movies with my kids ( and of course sleeping in ). We just watched "Secondhand Lions" this week and it is a great movie. You all have to watch it. My son even liked it.

Plans for the weekend: Tonight we want to go and see Passion of the Christ ( is it true that it is all subtitles?) . Tomorrow I have a Pilates class in the morning and then I will be coloring eggs all day ( and eating them ) .

Sunday I hope it is warm enough to go bike riding.

That is my weekend in a nutshell.

Have a good one.

That is a great Mini Challenge IG:

I just have one question.....the 60oz we have to drink each day...hum...can it be ...hum...beer!! I know, I know...just kidding!! :-)

I just woke DH from his nap (6 pm) and said it is FRIDAY NIGHT so lets get some beer and turn up the tunes and have a little party!! I love parties.

So he is getting ready to go to the store to get the beer!!! Let the party begin!!!

Or we will probably just sit around all evening maybe watch half a movie and fall alseep by 10....Oh well it was a thought. LOL

Tomorrow we are taking the kids swimming, that should be nice. It will be the first time I expose my stark white(a little puggy)body to the world. I live in Canada and we are still all pale here. No sunshine to speak of yet!! LOL Wish me luck!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

I dunno. I have issues about drinking. lol. My BF makes fun of me because I can last, oh, about as long as his 9 year-old neice. lol. So, any EXtRA water, just means I have to go more. and I have been drinking about an extra 16 an day. yeah, only 16. okay maybe up to 20oz. and guess what? I am going like every hour. I can't even begin to think about 60oz. I might as well just sit there on the toilet. LOL.

I hope the weather is good for golf too. My hair won't be done until almost 7pm my time (PST), so I still have another 5 hours. So, I will tell you later how it goes and if I like it. =)

Have a great weekend everyone!

PS My favorite thing about the weekend is sleeping in, or at least the thought of sleeping in. I usually wake up early on the weekend but atleast I know that I don't have to actually get up. LOL

My favorite thing about the weekend? SHOPPING! I love thrift stores and flea markets and yard sales and I seriously can't wait until the weekend comes; I really thing it's more about the people and all the conversation I get out at those venues!

My DH is going out of town to visit a friend a few hours away, so I'm planning on hanging out at a local town spring festival with a gal from work and my boys. Should be fun; a lot of walking, a lot of sunshine (unless it rains), and a lot of good conversation.

I'm going to take you up on that challenge for the water. My back has been killing me lately, and I know it's because I haven't been staying hydrated. I know I would feel alot better if I would just drink the water. Wish me luck!
