Drinking H2O and your complexion

Is anyone else noticing their complexion getting better with all this water we are drinking? Not that mine was bad, but when I looked in the mirror this morning, my face looked "brighter".. I just smiled. What another added bonus you don't think about. Drinking water really has SO many more benefits that we don't even realize. So, not only are we egtting healthier (our kidneys are loving us) and thinner, but we are getting more beautiful... WOW WOW WOW... Look out world!!!

*Just thought I would share that*

i am most definitely experiencing the same thing...i treat myself to facials at least once every 2 or 3 months and the woman noticed a huge difference in my complexion from Feb to April. i still have to exfoliate because i have dry skin but she said my face is not as dehydrated as she has seen in the past. Also it seems to helping clear the pregnancy mask i had left over. Yippeee!

I notice my skin in softer overall and my hands and ankles don't have that "bloated" (puffy) look to them. :)

Funny. I'm feeling the opposite. Although, I may be wrong.lol. I feel my skin is drier overall. It's soo tight after a shower, when it wasn't before. My hands are REALLY dry and I hate it. Which reminds me, I need lotion.

Edited to say: I think I know why my hands are so dry. From WASHING them from going to the BATHROOM so much. LOL.

My face. I would say it's okay. But man, I sure noticed my LARGE pores. Yuck! I need to go put a mask on or something. Facial mask. nOt a mask to hide my face.

How strange, but then again, I am feeling more dehydrated now. I wonder if it's because my body is now craving the water, and I need more. I'm so weird.

I never get zits anymore. Aren’t I lucky??? I get the occasional pimple when I am pmsing or if I am lazy and haven’t washed my face before bed. I used to have severe acne in college, it was horrible, then I switched to Bare Escentuals, and that was it no more problems. Now I just wash my face with dove, once a week I use Philosophy’s the Greatest Love and I use Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar which by far is the BEST moisturizer I’ve ever used in my life…have gotten so many people hooked on it!

But I agree the water definitely helps the face…just wanted to plug all the greatest products I use. LOL

Oh oh oh oh oh.. tell me more about these products!! Right now, I use st. Ives apricot scrub, clean and clear astringent, benzoilperoxide cream and oil of olay total effects face cream. That keeps it under control for me. BUt man, it takes me forever to put all the crap on my face. lol

Honestly when I use the Greatest Love, its a exfoliating scrub, and then I put on my hope in a jar afterwards, my skin feels as soft as a babies, its awesome. I have oily skin so I don't exfoliate often, only once a week. But Hope in a Jar is the best face cream ever and you don't need a lot of it. You can get some good deals on www.drugstore.com too, that's what I usually buy them because they always have free gifts with a philosophy purchase, or QVC sometimes has some great deals on philosophy. I got several friends and my mom turned on to Hope in a Jar.

Bare Escentuals is great, once I stopped using "foundation" to hide my acne and just let it clear up, my face has never looked better. Bare Escentuals has this powder "blush" called warmth, that is fabulous that I basically use as a blush but its more of an all over color, earthy tones. And I do have some of their blushes as well. Once I put down the foundation, my face cleared up. I never put any "makeup" on my face. Bare Escentuals is made with minerals and all natural ingredients so its less harsh and they make great shimmer eyeshadows. I usually buy my bare escentual products from QVC, they are cheaper then buying direct from the company itself.

I'm such a product junkie that when I find things that work great for me, I stick with them and I share the news. LOL

Also Smashbox makes a fabulous anti shine finisher, its not a powder, its white but it goes on your skin clear and it just basically covers up the shine and smooths out the face but not having to put that cakey powder. I love it!

I used to have at least 2-3 pimples on my face all the time. I went to a doctor, the stuff he gave me was harsh, but it sorta worked. Then, my friend told me to try Aveeno. I did. Because it's not soap, has nothing harsh in it, my face is clearer than before. So, from now on, I try to stay away from anything that is too harsh, or has too many chemicals.

I am still in the process of finding a toner w/moisturizer in it, that doesn't cost over $25 a bottle. Can't find one. But I love that it cleans your face, but doesn't leave it feeling tight or dry. =)

I just started using Oil of Olay for a moisturizer. I am so lazy in the morning. I have no time for all this stuff. hehehe!

oooo...might have to try this. the moisturizer doesn't acerbate your acne? I know I can't use almost anything on my face as I'll break out.

Just wondering, since I know you said you had acne.
