WOW ladies...

I weighed in at 141 this morning. I'm soooo happy and proud of myself that I could just CRY!!! Happy tears of course! Went shopping with momma and well, one of my purchases was a "skort" for golf. SIZE 8!!!!!! My mom and I are EXACTLY the same size now. Only, I'm at 141 and she weighs 128. That's just sooo weird. I've got a lotta muscle I guess... BUt I haven't been this low in YEARS!! And what fun to go home for the weekend and see my family and hear the "OOHhhh AWwwwww... you look TERRIFFIC!!!!" all weekend!! Like I said, I am on a NATURAL HIGH!!! SOOOOO HAPPY!!

NOW, I've got a new challenge JUST for myself. I've got 20.. T.W.E.N.T.Y days left till my B-day (sure wish we could all have a party together..what fun that would be..) and well, I want to get more tone. I need a little more help/motivation/ideas for GREAT workouts. I really want to hunker down on the work out part. My butt especially.. and those abs and arms. Anyone up for that major PAM CHALLENGE?!?!?!?

Hey, way I see it, if I don't accomplish anything else before my B-day.. I'm still VERY happy anyway... :-)!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

That's awesome. I would love to be 141. Man that is my ultimate goal, but its 67 lbs away and seems like an impossible feat!!!

Anyhow, Congratulations you are DOING AWESOME!!!!

What have you done?? I haven't been here long. What do you do for eating/exercise etc.

Well, eating... I follow the low carb. I'm pretty strict with it. And well, it hasn't been that bad. Like I said in my journal, I don't even miss the bread and pasta. I don't crave it. The one thing I'm missing now is fruit. I am going to reintroduce that in moderate amounts when I raech my goal weight (135). It's by FAR the easiest time I've ever had at losing weight and it's definitely going to be a change of life as far as my eating habits.

Exercise? Well, I need to boost that, but thus far, I've at the very least walked 20 minutes each WEEKDAY. There were lots of weekend days that I didn't get any "real" exercise in. I've done some light weight training (VERY light). I need to step that up. I want to be more tone.

But all in all, I haven't "killed myself" doing anything, ya know?? GIve it a whirl.. what are you doing to lose now??

OH, and the water.. I think that has helped SOOOO much!!

Yup that is exactly what I am doing. Unfortunately low carb is basically the ONLY way I lose weight. When I do want pasta I try to eat whole wheat pasta or soy pasta and usually I will eat it for lunch so its burned away with my afternoon workout.

I do the 27 min Tae Bo tape in the morning at 5:30 UGGH! And Slim in 6 in the afternoon (45 m to an hour)

Yay!!! You did such a GREAT job. So, whats' your Pam challenge? Just wondering. And did you hit your goal for your b-day? If I remember, you did, but the size 8 alone is just wonderful.


And that IS weird. When I'm 141, I can't fit into a size 8. I'm thinking I have to get down to about 131. Strrange, but WHO CARES!!! lol.

You've reached my goal!!! I'm so happy for you and so jealous too. When I'm 140 lbs I'm a size 12. We'll see what I am this time around with the weight training I'm doing. I have 30 lbs. to go. You did fantastic.

Thanks, everyone for all the wonderful words!! I'm not quite at my goal. I've got 6 more pounds to go (135) and 20 days. I was jsut saying that if I didn't make it in that time, WHO CARES!! I've come a LONG WAY BABY!!! lol
