Hi, everyone... As some of you know, I've decided to take on the task of designing a T-shirt... but there's one problem. I'm STUMMPED!! And I am NEVER stummped.. this is a first for me... here are some ideas that I've had so far. Let me know what you think and maybe elaborate on them if you can.. or, if anyone has any completely different ideas they want to share.. let me know..

On the front, just the words "Getting fit in your 30's" written in a unique font or something... like over the left breast area (as if there was a pocket there.. know what I mean?? ) then on the back, a picture of a dragon fly in the middle and words going around it that describe who we are.. the type of women we are..

beautiful, vibrant, intelligent, graceful, daring, successful, fit, healthy, passionate, strong, courageous, loving, caring, supportive, motivated, happy, ... those sorts of words... and at the bottom.. say "With this life filled with new light and joy, we'll let our true colors shine through! That's what getting fit in your 30's is all about..."

Any ideas?? And I'd be more than willing to share my dragon fly for the idea (the one that I plan on getting a tattoo of.. (man, thinking about this makes me want to go out and run... maybe these T-shirts will be a great motivator too..lol). The dragon fly that I have is deep blues and purples. After lots and lots of searching, it's by far the best one I've come across. Absolutely beautiful. ORRRRR... we could do one that we all design together somehow.. that way it will be OUR dragonfly.. with LOTS AND LOTS of color.....

What does everyone think? I've done a rough draft. I can't paste it here (wish I could) anyone that wants to see, I'll e-mail it to you??

I was thinking something along those lines as well, wording for fit 30 above the pocket (maybe put another small dragonfly above the lettering??) and the dragonfly on the back. It would be simple for you and sentimental to us. Thanks for your effort!

I am biased to butterflies. LOL

Especially because its all about transformation from a yucky caccoon to a beautiful butterfly, which is very symbolic..which is why I got one in a tattoo after my divorce. But I like everything you wrote, sounds fabulous, but can we have a front pocket *wink*

I am partial to butterflies too. It just looks like we were outnumbered...LOL! My fave quote "cocoon to butterfly"...describes me working my butt off (got it from dietbites.com).

Love the idea of adding the little dragon fly to the front... And the pocket on the front.. sure!! But since we are putting graphics on the back, I think we'd better jus stick with the T-shirt w/pocket (instead of a collared shirt w/buttons..) besides, that gets a bit $$$$ and I know many of us (myself included) don't have money to throw around...

So, a pocket T-shirt w/ dragon fly added to front. Is there anyone else partial to the butterfly? I think they both have the same meaning. The reason I went with the dragon fly was the post about "rewards" and a bunch of us went off on a dragon fly tangent and it seemed fitting... lol. Lovin... don't you have my e-mail address?? Write me and I'll reply with the pic. It's a beauty!! smartredfox01@yahoo.com (incase you don't have it.. and anyone else who writes me there and wants to see the pic, I'll gladly send it...)

I think the T-Shirt is such a cool idea. If there is a tie over the dragon fly or butter fly what about a logo with both of them? Or one on the front & one on the back. But that my cost more.

I hope the shirts will be availabe in 2x or 3x, I like working out in oversized t shirts. And I am over sized at the moment. lol

Have a great day all.

NOw that's an idea... butterfly on the front and dragon fly on the back? (The only reason I am leaving the dragon fly on back... that saying I wrote about "Joy and New light" has to do with the japanese meaning of the dragon fly. Read under the "rewards" post for the meaning of the dragon fly... and we'll make all sizes available that are needed... And I am assuming we should go with a white T-shirt? Most versitle and probably least expensive?? And who knows just how we can get the "cost" thing taken care of so no one is stuck footing any bills?? Someone mentioned setting up a fund. Maybe one of you most WONDERFUL cl's could do that?? Even through pay pal? I'd be willing if there's no other way and I already have a pay pal account... I believe you can pay a little extra when you pay for something to get it guarenteed through pay pal...(like an insurance type thing) I undertand all the trust issues involved with money and the internet (should I say lack of trust issues..lol.. my ex had his bank account stollen right out from under him by a guy in London and my ex lives in IN... how about those apples??)

Well, I was thinking that T-shirts w/o pockets would keep cost way down. I'm not partial either way... just want everyone to be happy :-) If we can do both and just have those with pocketed T-shirts pay the difference.... maybe? I have to get the design done and agreed upon first, go to a T-shirt maker (unless someone else on the site has the capabilities to do that.. like an uncle with a T-shirt shop?? lol) Then I can get the cost figures and present them to everyone and see which way we are going to go... Who knows, maybe once a design is agreed upon, they'll tell us what all we can get that logo on... maybe even like a beach bag or something..lol.. (OK, I am going to go crazy here..lol)
