T-Shirt ideas. Suggestions wanted!!!

Hi, everyone... As some of you know, I've decided to take on the task of designing a T-shirt... but there's one problem. I'm STUMMPED!! And I am NEVER stummped.. this is a first for me... here are some ideas that I've had so far. Let me know what you think and maybe elaborate on them if you can.. or, if anyone has any completely different ideas they want to share.. let me know..

On the front, just the words "Getting fit in your 30's" written in a unique font or something... like over the left breast area (as if there was a pocket there.. know what I mean?? ) then on the back, a picture of a dragon fly in the middle and words going around it that describe who we are.. the type of women we are..

beautiful, vibrant, intelligent, graceful, daring, successful, fit, healthy, passionate, strong, courageous, loving, caring, supportive, motivated, happy, ... those sorts of words... and at the bottom.. say "With this life filled with new light and joy, we'll let our true colors shine through! That's what getting fit in your 30's is all about..."

Any ideas?? And I'd be more than willing to share my dragon fly for the idea (the one that I plan on getting a tattoo of.. (man, thinking about this makes me want to go out and run... maybe these T-shirts will be a great motivator too..lol). The dragon fly that I have is deep blues and purples. After lots and lots of searching, it's by far the best one I've come across. Absolutely beautiful. ORRRRR... we could do one that we all design together somehow.. that way it will be OUR dragonfly.. with LOTS AND LOTS of color.....

What does everyone think? I've done a rough draft. I can't paste it here (wish I could) anyone that wants to see, I'll e-mail it to you??

Okay, here's some of the kanji that I could find. One problem though....one character can mean so many things that who knows if what I found is right. My suggestion...if you want characters, I can get them....maybe. We have a lot of chinese ppl here at my work. Or, we can just hope that what we get off the internet is good enough.

Your thoughts?

If you can't see them, you can go to http://photos.yahoo.com/k9kreationz and click on the Getting Fit folder.

or, here it is. some of them.

All I can say is ~~~~~WOW~~~~~

Cher- (and Pam) you girls ROCK! This all looks and sounds fantastic!!

I too would prefer a tee w/out pockets.
Either/Or with the butterfly or dragonfly here- though I do prefer the idea of a d.fly!
The white and colors chosen look good!

.....just a thought.....
Have you ever *made* your own shirts? With iron-ons? You can buy the special paper to do your own at places like Office Max. We could do it that route. Just e-mail the design to each other and then you decide if you want to go ahead and make the shirt.
You could decide on your own type of shirt ;-)
Or even put it on something else- beach bag, whatever ;-)

What do you think?

Yeah, Cher... I'll just borrow one of DBF's nike dry fit shirts... I think he should own stock in the company...

OMG!! THose characters are awesome.. and IG!!! I think you may be onto something with that self-iron on stuff!! SERIOUSLY!! I NEVER would have thought of that. In fact, I'll do one for me, and take my pic (also, that way I can show off this ever so flattering figure I've got...*totally kidding*.... but then you can all see and I'll let yo know how it works out and if it's going to be worth it!! I'm SOOOOOO excited!!) I bet I make bags and T-shirts and tank tops and and and ... I just LOVE it!!

Well it was just a suggestion. I'm sorry I am perceived as a follower because I suggested a butterfly, the butterfly has a lot of meaning to me with my transformation after my divorce and I felt it fit with so many people trying to transform their physical self. But its not that big of deal.

The Butterfly is definately a beautiful symbol and I am sure that it has a wonderful meaning for you!! I didn't mean to imply that you were a follower, so sorry that you felt that!! I just ment that we see butterfly used alot and I thought the dragon fly would just be a little different but with a similar meaning. That's all, nothing else. LOL

Maybe taking a vote would be the best way to decide because there are a lot of people that would like a butterfly and with the start up cost we can only go with one or the other.

This is just a suggestion also.

Pam (OT),

yup, my dbf should own stock in Callaway and Ashworth. I think he has every shirt out there. And ALL of his clubs are Callaway. it's sick actually. the sicker part? he wants to name our dog (when we get one), cally (callaway), or maybe scotty (scotty cameron, but i said no cuz that's my cuz's name) or a few other "golf" names. It's quite sick....but cute.

I should own stock in Nike too. I'm getting close. I LOVE their dri-fit stuff for ANYTYHING!!!

I actually do to. Here, for the golfers, you'll get this, or not.

I told my bf, we have to buy a boy (name him Scotty - for the putters), and a girl (name her Cally - for the clubs) and then breed them, keep one and name him/her Bogey. So we can say, "because of Cally and Scotty, we got a Bogey" hehehe!!! Okay, yes, that's sick. I know. hehehe. But come on, we don't want kids, so we gotta give these sick cute names to SOMEONE, or something furry. hehehe.

I like Cally too, but I've never had a female dog before. Not even sure how they "work".
