7 pounds heavier, but one size less!!!

Just want to share. Finally, broke through 8 month plateau!!!!!! I did not come in the form I was expecting, I wanted to my scale to reach up and give me a hug.
But instead, it said I was 7 pounds heavier, ever since I started my muscle routine, but then I got out the tape measure, and my measurements were an inch less on my thighs, hips and stomach. (And I think you can see lines in my stomach, whoohoo!!!)
Ive doing Denise Austins "Shrink Your Female Fat Zones" and unlike most resistance tapes out there, she uses weights, which I upped mine to 10 and 12 pounders. I saw the results in two weeks, phenomenal. And during this time, I through my low carb regime out of the window.
I got off the low carb thing, since, I just could not handle weakness and fatigue. Even though it works, I guess low carbing is just not for me.

Hi Marsha & Welcome to the Wagon of Support :-)
You say- It is hard to lose weight and exercise alone. I know I need some support, but don't know where to turn. My dh works a lot, a friend of mine was suppose to walk with me - she doesn't, others I have asked to walk with me find a reason not to.... Well not to worry, we're here for the support!
Good Luck on the Shape Up Summer challenge- is that here on iVillage?
We too are doing a summer challenge, it's the Fun, Fit Healthy Summer Challenge!
