Just keep on swimming, keep on swimming

Well ladies. The wagon left me behind, but I'm hanging onto the rope and getting dragged behind. lol.

I'm getting back on track and in fact, I'm itching to go home to exercise, until I get home. Then I just wanna crawl in bed and go to sleep. hehehe.

But, I guess that also has to do with the fact that it's my TOM, and I got on the scale this morning and it said 144. WTF!!! Nuts. I gained 1lb and 1.5 inches back since last Sunday. I'm going to hope the 4 lb gain is from my period. lol. Jeez, never had that much. But come on, no way a person can gain that much weigh in a few days. Oh wait, I remember my family went to Hawaii for a family reunion (my family is there), and my brother, no kidding, gained like 8lbs in one week. We were eating SOOOO much. It was sickening. But DANG GOOD FOOD!!! hehehe.

I guess I'm just posting because I'm on the depressed side because I didn't make my goal. I wont' either. I mean. I have 9 days to lose 5 lbs not including the 4 i've mysteriously gained. Ugh! And I wanted to lose one size. Not going to happen. I'm sad, but I have until October to hit my goal. Not easy, but still doable. I just need to be more determined.

Has anyone tried hypnosis? I pass by this place called Positive Hypnosis. I was wondering if they could change my frame of mind to WANT to exercise and do it. lol. Maybe I could get them to fix my personal issues too. It was a thought. Hey if it works, to get me to work out more, great!

I'm just babbling. Don't mind me.

Cher,

(((HUGS))) Don't despair! You're doing great. Those nasty pounds are probably just from your period. I gained three pounds in April when I was premenstrual and when I weighed myself two weeks later, they were gone along with an extra one! You're still definitely within reach of your goal for October!! DON'T GIVE UP!!

Regarding hypnosis, over ten years ago I bought a cassette tape called "Slim Forever" and used it daily for a few months. Each side of the tape was about a half hour. On one side was a woman who said positive things that I was supposed to repeat in my mind while being in a comfortable, relaxed position. The other side was soothing music that I could listen to anytime and it was supposed to contain subliminal weight loss messages. I have to say, I think it did work. It really helped me to stop eating junk and have a better self image. Now I don't even know where the tape is, but I found it to be helpful when I was using it.

Hang in there, new friend! You can do it. Imagine the wagon has a big bale of CHOCOLATE in the back and jump right on (but don't eat anything - imagine there's also a treadmill on it hehe).

Don't despair - tomorrow's another day. You have a few lbs left...go go go!

Cheryl- you are doing GREAT! Keep that in mind!!! You have put your mind to the SI6 program, and doing it so well. OK, so you haven't reached the goals you wanted to, but you've come so far down the path of fitness, and THAT you HAVE to be proud of ;-)

Chin up girl - and look forward to that vacation...I'm sure those mysterious lbs will disappear just as fast as they appeared!

That's okay. I'm drowning.

Been back on track. Worked out 5 out of the 7 days last week. Worked out so far 2 days. (didn't work out yesterday) and yet my scale doesn't move. I'm so frustrated.

Cher,

You have done great. You stuck with the SI6 and you are making great strides to your goal. Stay positive. Have a wonderful trip. Swim in the ocean a few time and the last few pounds will wash away.

Thanks everyone for your support. I weighed myself late last night. The WORST time, right? After I ate, after drinking lots of water, etc. Well, I was back down to 139. Which we can HOPE that after my TOM, I'll be even lower. How strange. It's an electronic scale, maybe my dog had his paw on it and was pushing down. lol. I dunno. But, I feel a bit better about that. Especially since I was weighing myself at the bad time.

Debbie: Thanks. Maybe I'll look more into it. Do some research online and find out how much it costs. lol. OR buy some tapes. hehehe.

Maribeth: oh my. Chocolate. If the whole wagon was made out of it. 1. I'd be there every day, although 2. I don't think it'd be moving as we'd ALL be eating it. lol. Thanks for the laugh.

IG: I realized the reason I haven't been losing like I want to.....lol. This is sad, but funny. I'm supposed to work out 6 days a week. I'm on week 5. So, I should have almost 30 days of working out under my belt. lol. I have about 14. HAHAHAHAHA!!!, but on the good side, at least I'm WORKING OUT! Right? Right.

Miranda: Wow! I can't believe your TOM affects you so much. I never even thought about extra inches. I wonder.....let's hope. hehehe. Thanks for the support. I know I have more time, but I was hoping to make this goal. Oh well. At least it got me moving, right?

Steffy: {holding out hand} come on girl, you can do it!!! Let's get back on. But, I am more proud of you quitting smoking than ANY exercise goals you had in mind. That's a BIG feat in itself. Good for you. =)

LH: I know that feeling. It sucks when the scale won't move. Remember, you could be gaining back weight from building muscle again. And burning fat instead. Keep it up. And no more falling off. you can drag from the back with me and STeffy....at least we're still hanging on, right? Gotta think positively. I gotta! Otherwise, I tend to quit. Don't quit!

Robyn: You know, I didn't even think about the "exercise" I do in Hawaii. lol. Thanks for reminding me. Last year, I almost drowned, so not sure how much ocean swimming I'll be doing. Let's just say my facial expression was enough to scare the you know what out of my cousin. She freaked out...and helped me in. I was getting pounded. And I wasn't the only one. But I had to GET IN by myself, cuz the lifeguard.....was our friend's new guy. lol. How embarrassing if he had to rescue me. Y'kow.
