It doesn't sound unreasonable, right? But now I'm so serious - I need to lose 6 lbs in 3 weeks so I can fit in my suits for all my coming meetings. i will be able to go to the gym 3x this week (went today and did 30min cardio and a quick arm weight circuit). Today so far I ate greek yogurt with honey and a banana for brekafast, another banana for a snack, and I had a big salad for lunch with lettuce, some cut up sweet potato, a couple of pieces of asparagus, some roasted eggplant, some cheese and a hard boiled egg - it was all from the salad bar so I don't know how they roasted the eggplant or the sweet potatoes and I'm not 100% sure what was in the vinaigrette, but it was enough to fill me up so that is good...I do have two business lunches this week so I'll do my best to order smart, and I'll try to stay away from too much junk at any barbecues this weekend...argh!

AF did come today so I hope to see the 2 lbs drop off pretty much right away, and then I'll just have aboout 4 to go...the goal is 144 lbs.

I'm on my 2nd bottle of water and will drink plenty when I get home. Not sure what I'm doing about dinner tonight...DH has to help a friend do some work on his house. We have leftover chinese food but I don't really want to eat that. Was thinking about picking up a roast chicken for me and Sam and then DH could have some when he gets home or eat the leftover Chinese. I'll see what DH fed Sam during the day today to figure it out.

Oh, yeah - my freak son has now stopped eating fruit! Crazy boy. He ate a bunch of raisins the other night but then nothing again. Can't even get a grape into his mouth. He is such a weirdo. He likes mayo on his grilled cheese sandwich, but only if he doesn't see you put it on before you make it. I hope this finickiness ends soon!

Sure you can do it. Just keep in mind bananas and sweet potatoes are high in natural sugar. Both my favorite so I belive they are high in sugar - I love sugar. You may want to limit them until you reach your goal.

Mayo on grill cheese - that is a new one. But I put may on french fries. ;)

All the fruits and veggies I like seem to be the ones that are highest in sugar! Berries are just so expensive...I like melon a lot, just not with yogurt. I'll figure it out.

Love mayo on fries. DH used to work at a belgian restaurant, so that was our favorite treat...well, none of that for me for 3 weeks for sure!

Of course you can do it, and it sounds as if you already have a great start on it.

Sam is too young for the one bite rule yet - that turns into a big fight right now! Maybe he'll be ready for that when he turns three. But now since we had tried the one bite rule, sometimes he'll come over with his sandwich and try to force feed us one bite even when we don't want it, and boy does he get angry if we don't eat it! So now I know how he must feel when we try to get himto eat one bite of something that he doesn't want...

Haha... I can understand the too young for that policy.
