I was reading in my favorite fitness magazine, FitnessRX for women, how grapefruit should be a staple added to anyone's diet, since grapefruit has been proven to burn 3 pounds over a 3 month period, without dieting or exercise changes. They suggested either eating 1/2 grapefruit with each meal, OR drinking 6 ounces of juice, with each meal. Additionally, grapefruit stunts your appetite. Also, the dietary calcium, (if it is enhanced) is about 40%, which is also good for fat burning and appetite suppression. I've tried this, and found it to be an easy addition to my diet.
I know I now drink cranberry water,(an awesome Dieturetic (unsweetened) in addition to just drinking water, and sometimes, I drink hot lemon, which is another dietary staple.
I am anxious to hear everyone's elses little dietary fat flushing/burning ingredients that they have found to be helpful through their dietary journey.
I am slowly trying to add these things into my cooking, recipes, and daily habits. Hey, every bit helps.

Thanks, sediqua..it does help very much.
I know I myself have at least 30 or 40 tapes that are good, but for me, really do not do anything anymore. And some, (like belly dancing) that I thought would be interesting, I never do.
I will try to find that information and dig it up. After all, that is the true secret. To continue to change things up, like every 4 to 6 weeks or so. That is easier said than done. I like my routine.

Hey ladies, just catching up and wanted to let you know:
Check if the juice says Cranberry Cocktail or Cranberry Juice.
Steffy- read your post and thought of something immediately, and as I read the other posts that followed I see that the same suggestion was mentioned, and agreed upon = resistance bands!! I too am adding my agreement here.
The really great thing about them is that you can increase or decrease the resistance with ease (by moving your position) and that you can use them for not only your arms, but

Sediqua- that's one of the things I really like about Denise's workouts!! (Did you see the one last week from St. John in the Westin? I stayed there last summer for a 'girls weekend'...it really is as beautiful as it looks!)
I love that she incorporates so much into that half an hour...and that if you feel you haven't had enough you can do the next workout too. It justs takes a little discipline on my part to get up and do them in the morning, lol!

As far as resistance bands go, I am going to try this. They've always scared me, because I just do not know how to use them. But I guess I will learn.
