I didn't lose even a little ounce this week. I thought I was doing ok - that even my not-so-good days could be offset by the good ones, but I was wrong. I didn't even have to weight myself - I could tell because that lovely layer of fat that sits around my hip bones was sticking out this AM, making itself very visible and making everything fit wrong. It's that layer of fat that keeps me from getting into the good clothes.
So, the good news is that I don't need to wear suits every days to the sales meeting, so I'll be able to get by. But then I have three weeks with business trips, and I need to dress right for those. So the goal is being pushed back a bit - now it's to lose anything by Monday and then to be 144 (or 145 would be ok...I'm 149 again today) by the 28th. I'm not feeling very optimistic, though.
I'm not quite sure where I went so wrong. So this week I'm going to really stay away from any sweets, I'm going to watch portion sizes (I think that must be a part of it), and I'm not going to have more than one taste of Sam's sandwiches (I mean, a mom's gotta taste the food to make sure it is good, right?) Unfortunately, I'm going to miss some workouts this week because of the court date, and next week I'm not really going to be able to work out either because of the meetings, so I just have to try. It's going to be a stressful week, too, and just one small Frappuccino sounds so yummy, but I have to somehow resist it or replace it with something less bad.
Ugh.

Erica, even if you don't reach your goal, I think you should be close enough to notice a difference, so don't think that you've failed if you don't reach your exact goal.
Erica- sorry you haven't reached the goal you wanted to, yet! Sounds like life is quite busy for you at the moment, making it difficult to squeeze in any exercise time! How about taking stairs when you can, parking further from the door, walking to get a 'healthy' lunch....etc...? Also, don't forget your water!
