Camping food - not Smores !!!!

What would you take on a camping trip where you have no way of heating up fod? Obviously no Smores!!! LOL
I am looking for some healthy meals and snacks to take when we go to the lake at the end of the month. We will take the boat ( which is a Bayliner 185 ) and since we are taking the boat we can't pull the travel trailer. So we will sleep in a tent.
It will probably be to hot for warm food anyways.
Any help would be appreciated.

Trail Mix and dried fruit are always a good choices for snacks. Oh' and nuts....a good healthy snack choice, especially almonds.

Have fun! I am planning a trip next weekend for our family!
Sounds like fun- it's been a l-o-n-g time since I went camping and the first foods that came to mind were- nuts, fruits and salads.
However I did do a search and this is what I came up with; http://ga.essortment.com/campingfoodlis_rwny.htm
(FYI- I didn't copy the whole article)
This usually necessitates the use of commercial freeze-dried camping meals which are 1.)expensive, 2.) usually not enough for the number of servings listed on the package and 3.)relatively tasteless and heavy on the salt and carbs. It is not necessary to do this when, with a little careful planning and a thorough search of your local grocery store can reveal a cornucopia of good food stuffs for you to take on your camping. And it doesn't have to rely on Ramen noodles for three meals a day!
