It has been just crazy!

My trip to Evansville was fine - a pain, but fine. It's been crazy here since I've been back, and I'm not going to be able to check in much over the next few weeks. I'm swamped with work and biz travel, and then I have my vacation on 8/27 and then I get back on 9/7 and then need to go on a biz trip on 9/9! It's nutty!

I'm totally gross today - I got my period (bummer!) and am so bloated and in pain - it's just awful. I need something to take for this awful awful bloating. In the meantime, I'v basically thrown my diet to the wind over the last 2 weeks and am going to try so hard to get back on track, but who knows. I don't have time to work out since I can hardly even get out for lunch these days (I can't work out after work, because then I don't get any time with Sam - it's just not an option). And I'm supposed to go to the Yankees game tonight - I'll pack some fruit or something to eat while we're there, because I really don't think I can stomach a hot dog right now. With this bloating, everything is grossing me out except for toast.

So that is my story. I will check in when I can. I hope everyone is doing well and maybe I'll be able to write again sometime before next Friday!

Erica- you know trying to find the time for you (be it for exercise, reading, or even taking a bath) can be hard to do when real life gets in the way. Spending time with your family is important, very important. Enjoy your time in the evenings with Sam!


Get back onto the wagon with us when things slow down a bit. In the meantime, as Miranda suggested, watch portion control and what you eat. At least staying on track food wise doesn't intervere with 'time'.
