I am 31 years old and about 40-45 pounds over weight. I lost ten after I stopped taking my meds. But now I am stuck at 170. I am a fit 170 because I work out, but I am 170 never0the-less and I want to get bak down to my pre-pregnancy wight of 127-130. But thse ponds just won't budge! I've changed the way I eat. I eat very little sugar, some carbs, fruit and veggies. Basically I'm just trying to watch what I eat.

When I work out I get tired out really easily so I don't get to work out that long. Maybe 10 minutes (I'm serious). I keep trying buti it's hard. I had to quit the gym because I can't afford the monthly bill right now. I have two work out videos. One is Pilates SCulpt andone is an Aerobics. I try to do them but I havene't gottn all the way thruogh one of them yet. I'd like to swim at my local pool but I hav a child and I stay at home with him. I can't work out in thepool, with him and right now I don't have the money to leave him with someone. Last night I plannd to go when my Husband got home but he didn't get home uintil nearly 9pm. He is usually home around 6:30pm. I was so pissed. Especially since everyone had toldme to stop complaining about him and asking him for help around the house and with the kid and just do it. SO I waited patientily for him to come home, all the while getting more and more angry that I coudln't go and exercise because he was staying late at work.

I need SOMETHING for myself and I DON'T like looking like this. It is NOT me. So here I am trying to get into shape but it's hard with my energy level and my Husband deciding it's ok to leave me at hom from 8:30 in the morning to 9 at night with the Baby with all the house work and chores, trying to find a job, find time to work out with a Baby in towe, and run the other errands he wants me to while he is at work or goes to play soft ball with his co-workers. I'm tired. Just plain tired. What do I do?

Welcome and Hello! As far as your endurance goes, walking two miles (as an example) is just as good as running two. Especially if you CAN DO IT! Start changing up your routine. Does your video give you options to tone down the impact of the exercise? If not, then post it here and I will give you the low impact option. Don't just stop, your HR goes down faster than it goes up, so you want to keep marching or walking...something.

Ya know, I was so angry with my dh last night, my class was AWESOME! He inspires me even when he doesn't know it. You do need some time for yourself. You should mention to him that this is something you wish to do for you as a person and step out of the mommy role for an hour or so. Alot of times that will be your only break from "daily life". Don't get me wrong, I love being a mommy, but I need a sanity break and Dave would rather me go exercise than go to the bar...LOL! My preference....well, we won't go there...LOL! Oh, and I can sympathize some, I have four kiddos.

Take care,

Michelle

Welcome

You got great advise so far. You should definatly express your concerns to you husband as well as take you baby with you for a nice walk. Plan time for yourself - if you have to sacrifice doing the dishes than so be it. That is what paper plates are for.

Hang in there
