That is the question.

I was wondering your thoughts on this.

I have a snack before lunch, so I don't eat a huge lunch.

I was told to have a complex carb or protine before a work out. How about an apple with peanut butter or a yougurt.

Full or empty seems to be a very debatable thing. I do first thing in the am for cardio on an empty stomach, but lift after a light bfast. It is what works for me, atleast. You should always eat when you are hungry. My main goal is to be carb depleted when I run. If I were doing your regimen I would eat a small snack so that I am not famished and then do my work out. Better to get that tummy settled with a little something than stuff it when your starvin' Marvin. That is a biggy for me. I CAN EAT!!

My $0.02 are to eat when you're hungry! Maybe not a whole meal, but a snack when the pangs hit *should* help you through that moment!

Cher,

I feel like I get a better workout with something small in my belly, like a granola/power bar about an hour before my workout.
