I was just wondering if anyone had heard of or been to any Chicometrics exercise classes? I hear that the stretching & toning from these type of exercises really work and can help you lose inches, but I can find nothing online about them!!

Does anyone have any info on them??

Thanks Miranda! I got 'creative' last night and typed in www.chicometrics.com and it brought me to a site selling an exercise video but I am leery of sending $ 20 off for something that I have only vaguely heard of! Any info you can provide would be great! :)

Hi Mag, and welcome!

WoW- that was a tough search, but I did find something on them for you-

Chicometrics is a deep-muscle toning program based on isotonic (looked this up- "where there is constant tension during the lift") and isometric (and this "there is no change in muscle length during the lift, static")

Sounds maybe like a "deep tone" program here. I don't know if they are related, but a model friend of mine swears by "Deep Tone"; one difference "DT" will incorporate weights with the workout. The principal of it sounds fine, but I would have to do some research of my own. I hae only read the reply here.

Mag, it seems to be very similar to Callanetics, but is a variation developed by Dr. Chico Caldwell.
