I do so darn well when dh isn't here. He tends to brind out the eater in me....don't understand why as he is the one I want to impress when all's done. Anyway, I can go all week and stick to a strict diet and exercise program, but come Sat and Sun....yikes! What do you do to stay on track???

This might sound dreadful- but I try to stay away from those who will be a bad influence on me- you know those who can eat anything and not have to worry about it! BUT since it's your dh that might not be the best possible solution for you, lol!

How about giving yourself a cheat day (or meal) over the weekends? Knowing that there is a treat on its way might just be what you need to stay on track the rest of the time. KWIM?

Also, if there is something planned that will take me off the wagon for a bit I try to schedule or plan ahead, either before or after, to eat healthy choices and workout times. It sometimes keep me on track ;-)

I also try to remember my scrolling slogan.....

...oh, and I meant to ask- how's the no smoking going for you? Might that have something to do with the bad eating over the weekend? If so, hang in there- it WILL get easier!

Well, as for not smoking....not so well. I am not very determined to do it. I know it is bad for me and I know I am spending alot of money, but I am not in the mindset to do it. That makes it double hard.

You'll know when the time is right; in the meantime hang in there and keep strong!

I so agree - the weekends are so hard for me. I think for me it is the lack of structure. But I keep trying to eat healthy.

by the way what does KWIM mean?

I know exactly what you mean by letting the weekends run away with you.
