What has worked BEST for you in the past?

Aerobics (group ex) is what originally got me into shape. I was very sedentary then and that was ten years ago.

What exercise seems to work BEST for you?

Now, running seems to work best. I have tried other things, wasted half a summer riding my bike to kingdom come, but didn't get ANYthing accomplished. Running seems to be the fastest and easiest thing. Oh, and on the treadmill I work harder, so all those mornings outside.....seems like almost another waste.

What has worked BEST for you in the past?

I have noticed that I have decreased appetite and increased energy when I work out regularly, so that seems to be what works best for me.

What has worked BEST for you in the past?
In the past I have found sticking to a routine works for me- but I really have to be tough on myself about it! I've never tried group classes- I'm too self conscious to go to them. I also found journalling worked for me, but again I had to be tough (and honest) with myself ALL the time!!

What exercise seems to work BEST for you?
Walking, on my own. Exercise videos, especially Leslie Sansone's walking tapes. Swimming, new to me this summer as a way of exercise.

What eating style works BEST for you and your lifestyle?
Having healthy snacks and veggies around for those *snack* attacks. (Also making sure I eat breakfast helps with those.) Making sure I eat dinner before 8pm- and drinking water with EVERY meal! I don't really have a specific eating style per se, it's more on moderation....hence my scroll ;-)

What is your BEST tip for staying on track?
Being accountable- somewhere!
And WATER!!!

I'm hoping

...."if I get myself into a routine of being active every day, I tend to feel more energetic, sleep better, eat better, which feeds into WANTING to work out more.

What has worked BEST for you in the past? I would say exercising according to my body's own energy rhythm which seems to be higher at night than early in the a.m.

What exercise seems to work BEST for you? Firm and Kathy Smith DVD's.

~:~

What eating style works BEST for you and your lifestyle? I do best when I eat small meals frequently. If I go too long w/out eating and get too hungy, I tend to not eat as well or control calorie intake as much.

What is your BEST tip for staying on track? Make exercise a habit...feel somewhat obsessed with it. Then you will not spend too much time thinking up excuses not to do it.
