What has worked BEST for you in the past?
Kickboxing seemed to be the most effective exercise I've ever done.

I love that point "my body's own energy rhythm which seems to be higher at night than early in the a.m." I think that must be how my body is too! And I believe making exercise a habit is a great habit to have!

What has worked BEST for you in the past?

I have found that diet effects my weight moreso than exercise, although both are very very important. I have found that if I am able to eat healthy, and by keeping a journal, I 've figured out the amount of calories I need to eat, before I start gaining weight. If I get 5 -9 servings of fruit and vegees, I am never hungry, tired, or feel bloated.

What exercise seems to work BEST for you?

Exercise wise, running has proven to be the most effective at burning the fat off. 2 total body weight training session a week, (with no cardio, or doing the weight training first) has proven to be very effective. (weight training leads to more hunger pangs, while intense prolonged cardio seems to thwart appetite.)

What eating style works BEST for you and your lifestyle?

Lots of fruit and vegees, and high fiber. Lots of salads, and good proteins, like eggs, tofu, cottage cheese, shrimp and chicken. Basically the mediterreanean style of eating. I do not even crave sweets or salt anymore.

What is your BEST tip for staying on track?

Really, make every calorie count. Eating nutrient foods will fill you up, and thwart your appetite. When I get hungry, a high fiber apple, always does the trick. Stick with fat buring foods, like grapefruit and peppers. Try to incorporate only the good stuff in your diet. I used to have a cheat day, but now, really, I do not need it.

Flaxseed oil, and evening primose oil salad dressing a week before my period, banishes PMS, and thus, PMS cravings, and thus PMS weight gain.

I know that there is not such thing as spot reduction, but since doing the 5 vegees a day thing, the fat has burned off my middle.

Weight Watchers has worked the best for me in the past. I lost 50lbs on that.

Walking Walking and more Walking is my drug of choice.

My best tip for staying on track would be to remember if you have a set back, it is just that, a set back. We are all human and we are going to make mistakes. The key is too not let it ruin your day, or week.
