Okay, so the report I've been working on for days on end just a had a few "minor typographical edits".

God, you sound just like I feel sometimes! It's so nice to hear from others though.

One thing you might think of doing that I have recently adopted (if you have the time) is walk right past that Second Cup shop and right out the front door for a quick ten minute walk.

I like Kerstin's idea of walking past the desire to munch out!

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been down that road. You know better than to dwell on it, so forget about it and move on. If you get another urge, gulp some water (to make your tummy full) then go brush your teeth and don't forget to gargle with Listerine. It's a little trick that works for me every so often.

Hey Miranda:
Here is an article that I read some time ago that might be helpful to you now.

I know how you're feeling- I'm having a case of it myself at the moment- which I'll post about in a bit! Hang in there....what's done is done, and hopefully the memory of today will make you stronger the next time round.

LOL! I can't give any advice at all. I am going thru HORRIBLE PMS right now and I don't care what I put in my body today. In fact, I just finished a BIG margarita after a rough day at work, b/c I'm an emotional eater too! I don't care how many calories that had and I'm not in the mood to multiply anthing by anthing right now.

p.s. Sigh...at least I will be doing a Firm DVD tonight to atone for some of these sins!

At least now you're anticipating the obstacle and looking for ways to deal with it. Sounds like a good plan to have snacks at work. I also like the walking and water ideas that were suggested. Don't be too hard on yourself. Did you at least pay for the junk before you started eating it? There's nothing like standing in the candy aisle of the convenience store tearing into a chocolate bar the second your fingers fall upon it, and having the cashier ring up the nearly empty wrapper.... or so I've heard!

Those are some great suggestions, and thanks for the article as well.
