Wondering how often to work out? It depends on the results you want! Is your goal to exercise for good health? To improve your appearance? To look great in a swimsuit? Use the following guidelines to reach your target:

• To be healthy and lose one pound a week, do 30 minutes of aerobic exercise three times a week.

• To look great in your clothes and to lose two pounds a week, do 30 minutes of aerobic exercise four times a week, plus two 15-minute muscle-toning workouts with weights.

• To be in perfect bikini shape, do 30-45 minutes of aerobic exercise five days a week, plus three 30-minute muscle-toning workouts with weights.
