Back after a few days

I signed up Sept. 1 and haven't been back since... what a great start, eh?!

I did however start exercising again. I have used an exercise video 7 out of the last 9 days: five "The Firm" videos & two Leslie Sansone. I believe The Firm will get me there faster, but Leslie is easier to follow. Much easier!

The eating hasn't been quite as good. Some days I've done great about the sugar, others not so good. I've been eating LOTS of cheese too. Talk about fat & calories! My plan is to give up sweets for two weeks & reduce the amount of cheese to almost nothing for two weeks as well. I expect a lot more energy from these two changes plus the addition of exercise.

It's weird about my energy as of late. Since I started exercising again, I feel more energetic in one way; but when I'm tired, I'm supertired! Headaches and barely able to concentrate or stay awake kinda tired. I've also gained more weight in the last month or two than I feel like I should have. I went to the doctor's office today. I'm going to follow up with a couple things. Hopefully we can find something helpful here. In the meantime: no sweets, little cheese, and moderate exercise.

I see I'm not the only one looking forward to the challenge on Monday!

My best to all. I'll check in again soon!

Thanks for the support, Ladies. It is good to be back.

As far as the cheese goes, I actually "try" to stay away from all dairy. I was using soy cheese but got away from it. I just bought soy slices tonight for those times I *simply must have* a grilled cheese sammich. :)

I skipped the exercise today. Decided I probably needed the rest. I can feel muscles building up in my forearms. I think from the mail I've been carrying for work. Hey! I'll take them any way they come... :)
