I Need Lunch And Snack Ideas

I'm looking to broaden my horizon. When I do manage to have lunch, it's usually a PB & J sandwich, a subway sub or leftovers from the night before. I also need to get better about working in a couple of snacks a day so I don't get hungry between meals and eat the wrong thing or pig out at lunch or dinner. If anyone knows of a website that has stuff like this on it, that would be great, too.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Have a great day!

Chloe,

I'm lookin gfor good snack ideas, too. The kinds that I can stick to. I read your other post. I understand your pain.

I'm just so depressed about my inabilty/lack of drive to exercise. Wish I could help but I'm no good.

It's nice to know that I'm not alone. It makes me feel normal to know that I'm not the only person on the face of the earth who is motivationally challenged. Here are the snacks that are on my current list. I'm getting bored with them, though...but maybe they'll sound good to you.

Jello Fat Free Pudding Cups

Baked Tortilla Chips & Salsa

1/4 Cup Trail Mix (Nuts, M&Ms, Granola)

1/2 Cup Cereal w/Skim Milk

Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwiches

Low Fat Ice Cream

Wheat Crackers w/Cheese

Popsicles

Some other snack ideas could include;

Fresh vegetables- cut into bite size pieces, dip into cottage cheese or hummus
Popcorn, sprinkled with low fat cheese
Rice or popcorn cakes spread with peanut butter or jelly
Yogurt with crushed pineapple and granola
Sliced apples with peanut butter

As for lunch I pretty much stick to the same old thing- mostly a sandwich of some sort, and some fruit. Sometimes I'll do the leftover thing too.

A great idea is what I received from the Body for life book. Have 1/2 cup of cottage cheese for protein and yogurt for the carb. I am unable to combine them together but you can eat them at the same time but separately.
